You know, thinking about, 18 isn't that much of an impressive number and yet it can still make him a powerful magus.
It only becomes clear when you realize that every rune is like a pseudo Magic Crest created by a Goe that you realize how good Cu is at magecraft really. Though it does seem that Scathach is more of a Master given how easily she can terraform stuff and do great displays of elemental power. That is normally since Cu doesn't use his runes to act like a mage but to make himself a better fighter for the most part, which is something I haven't seen Scathach do really. Well this has been my mumbling to myself
Anyhow though I wish Nasu also gets in depth on Ogham runes as well, come on Nasu let's see Fionn fighting like a proper druid.
And make it a 5e druid so it can be hax. Though that is unlikely

Odin runes were stated to be way beyond the runes modern magi use so just learning several of them already make you many times better than a modern rune user lol.
I know. The psuedo-Magic Crest part I'm pretty sure only applies to the Original runes. Not the ones that was passed down in the modern era

Remind me why does Babbage help Zouken in London?
I mean he gets mind controlled before you fight him but I don't Zouken had any influence over him before.
I'd like to know more about his relationship with Sherlock Holmes, he did say that Babbage was the one that made him look into the incineration of humanity's history in the first place.
Spoiler:
Question, what is this "ion cannon" ppl say medea did at some point? i dont remember seeing that.
And is it safe to assume that medeas final hit in Hollow the lightning one is Ex rank? i think it is. tho im not sure.
its the HA one

Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Dunno if it helps or not, but most/all of Holmes relationships with other victorian characters are based on the real life friendships of his author, Arthur Conan Doyle. Particularly, Helena Blavatsky, Henry Jekyll (his author Robert L. Stevenson was friends with both Doyle and one of Holmes' models Joseph Bell) and apparently, both Babbage and Doyle belong to an organization called the Ghost Club that tried to proved paranormal phenomena via science.
I don't remember if much more was explored of the friendship between Holmes and Babbage in the FGO story, but if it does in the future it'll most likely take influence from there
tbf I never heard it called ion cannon. all I know is that it's a giant lighting attack.

I mean obviously people are just riffing off the looks when they call it an ion cannon but also lightning is a spark traveling down a channel of ionized air so I guess it works
