No, Endurance is more like your general health and how much you can take a beating, its basically how tough you are. That said it is different from a Servant's prana source, which actually what lets them stay in the world. Archer was pretty much dead at that point and would be instantly killed if he went into combat. The only reason he was still kicking around was because of the unique ability that is Independent Action.
