I remember Herc, Karna, Arjuna, Arash, Fionn, Cu and Sigurd being called that. I suppose Achilles too.

A couple times in FGO Chaldea detects 霊基 having a 大英雄 scale of mana. But I think it doesn't necessarily mean "Top Servant?"
"Top Servant" gets used a lot more on the Moon Cell side which makes me think it's a specific designation.
Top = pretty strong and very popular, or worf obviously.
I always kind of assumed that 大英雄 was lingo for very famous/strong hero with a leading role in a myth.

Pretty sure Alex was called a Top Servant by Nasu in 2015 in strict FGO context.

He was insulting you AND someone else, because that's the kind of place this place can be at times.

You're not wrong in general, but Castor does deserve the benefit of the doubt. He intended it as a joke, it fell flat, it happens.

Where Rider kicks Shirou out and he refuses to summon saber.
He hits the ground and the next thing that happens is that his chest is split open with swords sticking out.
Obviously it's a HF allusion, but why does it happen?
