Yes it was destroyed but at the same token Goetia wasn't able to destroy Avalon, which was inside the planet

He should be able to destroy Avalon actually, when Babylonia falls.
So, curses can be dispelled by transferring it onto something else or by Curse Release, which is a special thing basically only MEoDP can do. However, I also recall another method, where just overwhelming the Magical Energy of the curse with your own is enough, but I can't for the life of me find where I read that.
1) How difficult is it to transfer a curse? How is the process? Do we have any examples of it being done?
2) Can you just overwhelm the Magical Energy of the curse? What's the source of that?

2) Herk getting blackened and losing God Hand? Though that might just be a stronger curse overwhelming a weaker one.
IIRC there was a FGO interlude with Circe using a potion to make a curse in the argo(?) real so that we could beat it up.
