Random question. Which Rin is possessed by Ishtar in FGO, and how is it that both Ishtar and Ereshkigal both possess Rin? Are they possessing different versions, do we know which timelines the Rins are from? What's the deal with that?

SN.
And Ishtar and Eresh originally shared a body(rin) in Babylon. Thus when they are summoned in Chaldea they both have her body.

Sakurai doesn't talk about in the novel though, just the afterward.
Fate World = HUMAN ORDER STRONK. Ppl have made a way to summon Heroic Spirits, symbols of the Human Order, as Servants. Zepia is looking for the Third.
Tsuki World = HUMAN ORDER WEAKSAUCE. Ppl thinking summoning Heroic Spirits laughable. The DAAs are an actual organization. Zepia became the Night of Wallachia to stop the Sixth.
Zepia stuff from Case Files but it's a good way of distinguishing the two.
In Fate worlds is about elevating humanity even further.
In Tsuki worlds it's about avoiding completely getting screwed.

Would Ruler Jeanne be able to resist the corrupted mud of the Fuyuki Grail? What about Chaos Tide?
Really? I thought the reason Jeanne Alter had to be created whole cloth from the Grail in the Orleans singularity was that the real Jeanne could not be corrupted and felt no hatred towards those who burned her.
She can't corrupted but corruption isn't the only thing the mud can do

She was brainwashed easily with Charisma virus in Extella Link, what makes you think she cannot be corrupted
b-but, muh pure saint waifu, you guyyysss
Lesson 1 kid, everyone's corruptible
You can't create Jeanne Alter by throwing Jeanne into the mud. But if you throw Jeanne into the Chaos Tide her Saint Graph will be corrupted and changed by it.
Jeanne couldn't be Altered by being mudded but she would still be eaten by it. And Chaos Tide isn't really an Alter thing, I think.
She would? I thought the requirements for throwing off the mud were having no ego or an overblown one, and she definitely qualifies for that first part. However, I do get that she is still a Servant, and Servants are susceptible to the mud no matter what. Gil was just given a body because Angra Mainyu thought he'd be useful, though his overblown ego did help him resist the corruption.
Gil was not given a body in any deliberate sense, and his ego was not just some contributing factor, it was the reason he came out unscathed.
