An in-depth answer to what? You asked for how the world stamps them out. The answer is they run out of juice. If they still have energy, they still run. That's how the world works.
They're partially materialized souls. They're distantly related to the 3rd Magic, which is materialization of the soul.

Yeah to elaborate on what Castor said, there bodies aren't completely souls, when the summoning happens the copy of the heroic spirits soul that was sent is put into a container made from what Castor said. Once there body is gone that copy of the soul goes back to the throne as information or if there's a grail to it.

Imagine that you yourself are the world. Servants are like a food you've swallowed. So long as their function is carried out, ie the substance provides your stomach nutrients, it stays in your stomach. But eventually, once those nutrients are gone, the substance gets ejected from your stomach and eventually from your body. It's not a part of your body, it's foreign, and naturally being foreign your body has a system to eject it, but so long as it obeys certain rules its fine.

another question. can servants damage or destroy souls? i know they can remove them and eat them and i didnt think they could do anything else, but then i saw how servants in spirit form can be heavily damaged by the barriers that that mafia guy in strange fake has in his workshop and dantes' mystic code, so i started thinking about this idea
also, how does reyshift work? i know it uses spiritons in some way, but i am not sure about further details

If Kojirou cuts your head off, your soul is affected in the usual way of your body died so you get thrown in the recycling bin.

The soul's not like, a thing you can punch. A Servant punching you isn't an attack on your soul. With that said, conceptual weapons are soul crushers, so if the Servant has a conceptual weapon then it can attack your soul.
You can't really fight a soul. It's a soul, it's not a fightable thing. The exception's if the soul materializes, ergo because of the Third Magic, or a certain spoiler from Mahoyo.
