Late response, but by part, that means huge portion of the Crest, including the Finn Shot and the Edelfelt's unique jewel magic.
What little we read about it is interesting:
The Tohsaka gave up on the Greater Grail, and now seek a new path in becoming one with the universe with Chinese Kenpou while learning magecraft. The twin-tail daughter of the family might also end up becoming the founder of a “completely new martial arts that combines magecraft and Chinse Kenpou” by the time she becomes a high school student. However, she never imagined that her younger sister who was adopted by distant relatives would come visit her in Japan after becoming a pro-wrestler with unimaginably nice proportions and forming a tag team with a drill-roll-haired girl…!A certain provincial city. In these novels, the Holy Grail War doesn't occur there, of course, and as a result, the mayor of Fuyuki, Himuro-san, doesn't get a pained stomach from that Great Fire Disaster.
And of course, that red-haired boy is living there with his original surname unchanged, but still having a honest and upright personality (as shown in his appearance in Capsule Servant), and likely going through days with a love comedy-like tone, along with a twin-tail magic-fist user and her cheerful little sister who laughs like a high-class young lady.
One thing I've always asked myself is how is that actually a new path for the Tohsaka family? Wasn't Nagato's original intended path to the Root a state of Mushin, and didn't he encourage the integration of magic and Chinese kenpo from the beginning?
At what point do you see Tokiomi ridding himself of worldly possessions to achieve Zen

I'm not talking about the Tohsakas by Zero, I'm referring to Nagato himself before he was approached by the Einzberns.
What is their current path again? Ignoring the Grail method I mean. Using the Kaleidoscope to reach it?
You mean former path? Because after 1790, they went all in on the Grail.
I get that. I was trying to ask what exactly was their path sans Grail.
I thought it was combining magic and kenpou, but apparently Arashi says that's BS, so I don't know.
We know that was their original method, but then it changed at some point (possibly due to gaining gem magecraft?).
But they only gained gem magic in the context of the Grail Wars, and their methodology to get to the Root didn't really change, nor did they seem to have a fallback plan. Also, they always maintained a tradition and emphasis on some martial arts training, right? After all, Tokiomi was able to balance quite well on the Vimana's deck, and jumped quite gracefully, indicating some level of training.
This is also in my notes on the old to-do list. Though, after feedback from You, cutting out the Grail War and just leaving Rin and Misaya as the main focus seems like a better idea. Let me find it...
Rin & Misaya story -- Apoc!Rin moves to inner Tokyo eager to get away from her family and friends and to eventually learn more about the ritual her family gave up on, and after enrolling in a school there, discovers that her homeroom teacher, Misaya, is a magus in hiding from the various... organizations. Intent on learning more about magecraft, Rin decides to follow and confront her one day, but, so too do several others from Misaya's past.
Bazett story -- Post Subcategory Holy Grail War, Apoc!Bazett is thought to be have been killed and the Magus Association sends Enforcers to recover her corpse. Except, there's one thing stopping them: Bazett isn't dead. No, her duty won't end until the man who took her left arm--or she herself--is dead. As long as either of their hearts are still beating, there's still a war to be fought.
I think that was the gist of those.

You know what I always find sort of funny about Apocrypha Fuyuki Shirou, and sort of an issue as well with Prismaverse Shirou?:

Never really understood how muggle protags who have magical people wanting to get into their pants would be able to deal with the whole "we do magic and need to keep it secret but we still want to get into a relationship with you" schtick in general.
