(It'll still be OP)
The only way they could make it not-OP would be to get rid of the revive feature. Which, y'know, would kind of make it not the same power at all.

So since i lost my original save, I had to play through ME3 again. Did the action section after Rannoch and am about to do the party after getting Miranda.
However, from the spoilers of the party I've found, this ENTIRE DLC is like Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. Over the top, FUN, and full of comedy:
DLC Citadel
===
It's over the top but hilarious. And it's a great send off and end to the series. If you take EVERYTHING about the DLC to be post-ME3 ending somehow (such as how Anderson for some reason gives you the apartment during the war. Anderson says the more time he spends on Earth, the more he wants to stay there. It doesn't make "as" much sense pre-ending, however, if you imagine it being "post" war it does. Same with the R&R bit.
The way I see it, Bioware gave the fans a post-ending DLC, but couldn't name it that because of their previous stances/commitment to the ending.

I also described Citadel as a Hollow dlc for ME3. And it's FABULOUS.
For ANYONE who has played ME3 multiplayer:
Heh heh, I laughed at the end of the Requisitions conversation. And the Widow X thing at the end.
All of you who are still interested on Mass Effect Here's a bunch of artwork from the blog of one of the graphic designers

I'm excited for another ME and all but that trailer was kinda boring.
So, I've got a year and a half to pick up a next gen console... Unless Sony pulls KH3 out of their asses this week with an earlier release.

So, anyone have any guesses as to the story? Other then what we already know: ie. Andromeda Galaxy, Post-ME3, lots of exploring and presumably colonization.
Mine's that the MC's ship was either a generational or sleeper ship sent out during the Reaper invasion as a backup in case everybody died, and its mission is to sent up a foothold in Andromeda and start anew. Possibly has a multi-species crew, or at least Human with the MC being an N7. Games main plot with be about setting up colonies, expanding and protecting your territory while deal with local factions, and the game might end revealing that the Reapers run on a multi-galactic harvest cycle. Though Bioware might want to avoid bringing in the Reapers seeing as the battle against them in the original trilogy was hopeless without deus ex machina.
Given the ending to the original trilogy, it's probably just going to present some vague handwave about what happened and proceed to never talk about it again, lest they mismash the continuities.
Here's hoping the combat gets a decent measure of improvement, or I'm probably not buying.
Right now it's mostly based around extremely simple cover shooting against weak enemies, with the occasional bullet sponge enemy that fires rockets or slams you.
With limited combat options, that turns it into either a pop gun gallery or hitting every cooldown you have in between mashing the fire button. Not exactly very fun or engaging after its repeated over and over again with barely any variation besides some armor skins.
The combat needs to flow better, which means the first thing that should go is the habit of setting each one in a small arena populated by chest high walls. The areas need to be wider and more varied, each allowing for shifting tactics and different styles. I'd honestly increase the number of teammates from 2 to 3 to compensate, though they can work around this. I'd also give the weapons more punch, but remove the ability to aim while completely behind cover, thus forcing someone to at least pop their head above the wall for a few seconds to line up the recticle before getting perfect headshots. And while we're on the subject, the accuracy of the weapons should probably stagger a bit.

I predict they put it in FPS mode, remove levels and powers/classes in favour of different gun loadouts, and then marginalise or outright remove any story elements in favour of a bunch of shitty multiplayer maps and skins that you have to pay $15 a pop for.
Because EA.
