<NEW FIC!> Revolution #9: Somewhere out there, there's a universe in which your mistakes and failures never happened, and all you wished for is true. How hard would you fight to make that real?

Surprising no one, Andromeda looks more or less like a mechanical evolution of DA:I. There's really not a whole lot to take away from the gameplay they've shown, though, other than that it's generally sandboxy-looking. Unfortunately, it's kind of hard to properly judge the fundamental elements of plot and character before the game is even really out.
The main thing I'm hoping for is that the level design isn't godawful. It's good to keep expectations low.

that sure looks like a bioware game
Year 1
Salt Corner
facial expressions look bad, crafting makes me want to kill myself
but honestly they'll have to do hard to get me to not buy it
Wtf everything is almost exactly the same as the trilogy but with slightly better (???) graphics. I doubt the story will very innovative either.
I've never been less excited for a game.

No improvement in character movement and lipsyncing visible in the trailer either.
From that trailer I am getting lots of DA:I vibes in the sense that I think this will be a complete, and perfectly good game that will be worth the $60. It just probably won't be exactly what everyone was hoping/expecting it to be.
With that said, as long as my computer can run it I'll be picking it up.

What I wouldn't give for a ME game where you lead a galactic crime syndicate or an organization like Cerberus, or you're a politician/diplomat solving disputes or weaseling your way to power and fortune. They made a good universe but the ways they're choosing to explore it are so limited.
honestly as long as we get
a. fun squadmates
b. lovely character that i can romance
it'll be alright. but then again, after DA:I I'm not sure Bioware can even manage that
