So... You can have a tank go straight up a mountain? Cool.
Is it buggy though? I heard people keep finding bugs that do horrible stuff, life throw you off a mountain. If that's true, maybe I should just save my money for something else.

I've never been thrown off a mountain, but now that you bring it up I'm a bit sad because that'd be hilarious.

Nothing like any of that Skyrim level stuff has happened to me (yet).
The two "Worst" things was when I was riding theand froze in mid air for a few seconds and when I accidentally got clipped onto an enemy which is something the vanguard charge ability can always fix. Hell, that last one has happened to me in ME2 & 3 so no biggie.MakoNomad

Just found this. Funny as hell, but also stops me from buying the game.
Still, that part with the ice and the tank made me want to buy it and do it myself.
It's one of the buggiest AAA releases not made by Bethesda in years

If I feel like playing one of the ME games eventually, which of the first three should I play? Should I play them all, or can I just take any one of them standalone? I don't wanna buy too much.
Linger: Complete. August, 1995. I met him. A branch off Part 3. Mikiya keeps his promise to meet Azaka, and meets again with that mysterious girl he once found in the rain.
Shinkai: Set in the Edo period. DHO-centric. As mysterious figures gather in the city, a young woman unearths the dark secrets of the Asakami family.
The Dollkeeper: A Fate side-story. The memoirs of the last tuner of the Einzberns. A record of the end of a family.
Overcount 2030: Extra x Notes. A girl with no memories is found by a nameless soldier, and wakes up to a world of war.
None are really standalone since they follow the story of the protagonist all the way until the end.
But, ME2 is generally considered the best of the three. Good characters and writing, with gameplay way better than ME1. The only downside really is that it leaves behind the Star Trek exploration sci-fi feel of ME1. Play ME2 if you're gonna play one.
That said, I think they're sold as a trilogy these days anyway.
I bought the trilogy two years ago for something around $30, so its not very pricey anymore. For what its worth, I'd say it's definitely worth it to play all three.
ME1 is my favorite but its gameplay is clunky.
If you plan on getting into it imo just go 1-3. It really is supposed to be played as trilogy no matter what EA marketing tells you.

Play Biotics and it's fun. Basically the only game where Biotics feel like cool superpowers since in 2 they are mostly useless (honorable mention for reave) and in 3 they are 2 step grenades.

Sentinel and Adept still suck in 3.
Then again Sentinel has the distinction of not having been fun in basically any of the games so I guess we can't really count that (unless you NG+ Sentinel in 1 with Singularity but then you're just an Adept)

do yourself a favor and just pick vanguard for all 3

They don't get the funniest Engi ability and Biotics suck dick still in 3. Not to mention armor skills getting the nerfbat in 3 so even your supposedly unique skill is dicks.

Yes I'll concede Vanguard because Vanguard.
Everyone loves Vanguard.

Apparently there were something like 800 characters to chat with. They definitely went with quantity over quality, that much writing will burn out anybody who isn't as insane as Stephen King or Brandon Sanderson. Not to mention the voice acting- I doubt that even 10% of the time the VAs were in the same studio together, playing off one another- with that many voice lines in the game, they'd have to have basically been like "Eh, fuck it, we'll go with that half arsed delivery, we've got thirty two thousand other lines to hammer out today, keep going".
Also- I'm not 100% sure about this, but they talked about this in the Cooptional Podcast- apparently Ryder's lines vary over the game. If you constantly pick sarcastic lines throughout the game, you'll end up with more sarcastic-sounding lines towards the mid and end game. Anybody confirm?
