that first enemy was killer, took me a few tries.

They said there wouldn't be armor in this game because of the setting, does that mean no more fashion souls?
There is armour, I think there's less of it though?
It's Victorian Horror armor. The snazzier you manage to make that trenchcoat look, the more impervious you are to damage.
Also stagger-evisceration attacks totally break this game. At least, early on. I've died more to falling than I have to enemies (minus the bosses).

I was amazed how much easier it was, dudes who took like 50 karate chops to take down only took like 2-3 hits with a weapon.

OK I've got the hang of it now. Could barely go down the first alley for a while but now I'm just rolling around shooting and stabbing pitchfork men.

Being hampered by my shitty car tag expiring this month.
Chalice Dungeons are awesome. But holy shit do they get harder the more depth levels they take on. Even harder than the late main game bosses the ones in depth 3+. The Mooks as well. But it is a great place to farm while keeping the game varied from the enemy placement you're used to.
Fuck the Pthumerian Swordsman thing. It's 2fast2furious, and it's literally just you dodge hitting and hoping your stamina doesn't get fucked.
Great, and now my car battery is dead. I swear there's a supernatural force actively trying to prevent me from saving money this month.
