That, too, depends on your definition of a soul.

Technically, I would think it's the right to insult someone when they're trolling you and no one can technically do anything about it and no mod/admin is on. And when they do your banned because they saw you were insulting someone while the other guy was subtly making fun of you.

No, it covers not going stupidly OTT and banning people for minor insults or because they're being trolled. And, honestly, if someone is being stupid, sometimes the only reasonable way to respond to them is with an insult.

But not appropriate.
While I'm willing to give that people will occasionally throw an insult cause mistakes are just part and parcel of existence, I never thought someone would actually suggest ad hominems as being productive and actually useful.
Figures it's Mike though, I suppose.
he wasnt the only one though, rats said something similar. phrased a bit differently though, something like, if people are being stupid, I can show them the respect they deserve, I.E. zero.
or something along those lines. actually if you are bored, you should feel free to go check out the original remarks. its either an intriguing look into how people really view the right to be mean, or a cheap laugh, depending on your viewpoint.
WE SHOULD VOTE TO CHOOSE NEW MODERATORS.
And each fanclub could be managed by his/her creator.
When there is too much love, too much compassion,
too much understanding, too much kindness, too much thankfulness, too much respect, and too much heart, then it becomes an act of cruel violence.
The problem with that is that two people can both be fans of the same character, but have very different opinions about their interaction with other characters, and indeed of different forms of that character. I don't think that giving the creator the right to decide what fans of a character are "allowed" to like is a good idea....
^^ + ^: thirded.
TBH, I don't see a reason to have active mods on those thread at all.
I do, if only to keep it from getting out of hand, but they shouldn't have to be there as mods...
