Has there ever been any elaboration on pre-4th Shirou? I thought he was still a blank slate and probably always will be, which means he's always an OC when he shows up in fanworks no matter how you characterize him.

Is there a more specific source detailing that depiction? I wouldn't imagine that present-day Fuyuki receives particular attention in Apocrypha, other than how the Grail was stolen from it and maybe a bit of Kotomine Shirou's time there, though maybe it's in some supplementary material?

Well everyone is a "wizard" in Harry Potter, so it makes sense that their abilities are less explained and only take a few years to master.

And now all of a sudden, I have an inexplicable urge to write Harry Potter being told by Sirius 'Believe in the you that believes in yourself.'

Also, in general Harry Potter fics made me want to bash my fucking head in. Like yes, there are good ones. If you have more than 15 fanfics in your fandom, then at least 1 is gonna be good. The problem is that for HP in particular there's so many fanfics that finding those good ones is more trouble than it's worth.

Not to mention that the worst ones always seem to be crossovers. RIP, my niche fandoms.
