Well, from my personal perspective, love is never wrong, for a christian. Or a Catholic. But romance between anything other than a single man and a single woman is wrong. Lust is not a particularly good trait for the Church, of course, but having it and resisting it is deserves more merit explicitly because of the difficulty inherent in denying yourself.
Of course, not every member of the church will see things like this, nor follow them.
Sentences like this always make me laugh. As if not following a stranger into their hotel room/classroom/back alley is an actual effort, or not picking the cigarettes off the shelf and lighting up is an actual accomplishment.
