Sakura Con 2012

Yes, I know it isn't for a while, but I'm an obsessive think-ahead-planner. Anyway, Sakura Con is April 6-8 in Seattle, Washington, and as per usual I'll be going with Central Washington University's anime club.

Last year I ended up completely accidentally meeting up with a group that went to do an impromptu FSN shoot. This year I'll be fixing that getup and hopefully adding a body-of-blades thing coming out from beneath the shirt...I'll maybe chronicle that in this thread.

Things from prior Sakura Cons:

HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR performs before disbanding a few months later.

Motoko Kusanagi shoots Dante in the balls at Cosplay Chess.

K-On! DVDs released early and the English dub premiere.

Random battles, Sakura Con style.

How to be a Pokemon Master.

And other stuff, like Kara no Kyoukai on a huge screen, seiyuu like Kotono Mitsuishi (Sailor Moon, Misato Katsuragi) and Ryou Horikawa (Vegeta, Kou Uraki), ect.

Anyone going? Or have I convinced anyone to go?

I'll certainly be there! I'm still debating on which cosplay to bring though...I have every intention of getting a better wig for Saber Zero this year (my previous one got totally destroyed during the con/trip back to Denver!! >< Not to mention it was a cheap-ass one used for Wasabi con a few years ago.) I also want to bring along my Saber Alter outfit! Avenger from last con wants to eat cheeseburgers with me all day, we chatted about it over Twitter XP In all honesty, I think it has come down to this list so far:

Depending on what I can actually pack in my suitcase;
Saber Zero + Excalibur
Saber Alter + Dark Excalibur
Nanoha/Fate/Arf (Still deciding which Nanoha cosplay I want to bring)
Whatever my friends want to do for the cosplay contest (I think Soul Calibur? I can't remember XP)
Aaaannnnnd Kyubey!

Ah christ...I need another suitcase x-x Regardless of what actually makes it, I'm super excited for Sakura Con 2012!!!

Thanks. Last SakuCon I cosplayed as Renko Usami but I wasn't recognizable much until I put a signboard that says "Hardboiled Renko looking for Maribel Hearn". XD

Got my cape for Okuu, still going to buy a pair of black wings, already got boxes to make her "third leg" and pringles can for the control rod.

Tobias and Kratos, you guys do realize there are conventions in Texas, right? Go here for a long-ass list of conventions. Though some are significantly smaller than others.

Oh I know that there are quite a few conventions in the DFW metroplex area; I'm just never financially secure to go to them. :/ I was jsut remarking on the fact that I didn't know tobias was so close to me local-wise.
