    I actually think that's quite interesting, canonizing lili in that manner. Its not really so out of bounds from the previous versions. Just adding a vigilante justice type hero before the kingdom actually crowned her as king, and having to go through that bloody hardship to become the Arturia who discarded that nature makes decent sense. It would make the Shirou/Archer/Arturia allusions even more complete than they were

    It just seems strange because they look like the same cause of the age stopping, but our Arturia is old grizzled Archer type Arturia after many years of hardship, and Lily Arturia is the idealistic Shirou type Arturia.

    So I'm confused, does that mean that ANY servant could technically have a summoned version of themselves at an earlier period of time...just because? Like, Saber as King made the pact and thus got stuck in the endless summoning loop, NOT when she was "Lily". Does that mean that Shirou could be summoned into a war in his current, non-EMIYA form as well?

    Eh. Kinda just seems like they made this all canon as an afterthought. Like, let's make this game with all these crazy summons (and put normal heroes into different classes)...and then let's write some random shit, and therefore it is now canon. Whatever, I don't really care either way, but it just seems kinda lazy.
