I rewatched that battle: Archer Illya vs Saber Alter (Class Card + Weakened).
Well, do anybody think that Archer Illya can stand a chance against the Real Saber Alter?
I actually think not.
Because Archer EMIYA would lose horribly from her.
Day 10 of the HF Route let already see that Archer couldn't stand against her strength.
Umbra, my Not!RM could overwrite the world around to reflect the natural world and alter conditions around to the user's favor, could summon animal familiars and summoned "sword" rain of sharpened bamboo sprouts. I forgot to tell that it could ape Kazikli Bay by impaling with bamboos.

Something what didn't happen in my country for now this year.
You're missing a few factors there. In Sparks Liner High, Shirou manages to last longer than Archer and defeat her, using only Archer's techniques, and with a body that's slowly dying and is turning into swords.
The reason Archer got pwned so fast in HF Day 10 is that Sakura's shadow was aiding Saber, it held his feet down, and Saber smashed him.
As for how well Illya will do. On one hand, Illya is a grail and therefore would have much more magical energy to put towards making swords. However the Saber Alter she fought wasn't as good as the real thing because even if it's a copy of the body, the powers, and whatnot, it's still not her, it's basically a machine programmed with all of Saber's moves. It'd be like a fighting game A.I. based on the real person's abilites and not ultra hax *coughUnlimitedCodesPs2AI*cough*.

As for Kiritsugu and Saber, everybody has bits of it right.
Kiritsugu hates Saber because he wants to be a hero like her and it reminds him of his failure. But he also hates how she doesn't realize that her way of thinking is only possible for someone who's superhuman, not anyone else. He would be like her, but he's not some godlike being so he has to resort to other tactics. Why can Superman be so merciful on his enemies? Because he's invincible so he has nothing to fear. But a normal person would just get killed instantly if they acted like that, so it's not a luxury they can afford. Meanwhile Saber is inspiring normal people to try that out and just sending them off to their deaths, basically.
That was why he got mad at her talking about war and combat like it was noble. It can only be noble if you are strong enough to make it noble.
