Ah gotcha. Standard dark souls tricks then XD.
Wait where the fuck is the gesture, please don't say ng+ gives +3 colarthy ring instead ...
You get all +3 rings on ng
I was just assuming that for the humanity puzzle you needed a gesture. Fuck that puzzle is dumb and you don't even get anything good.
You get to do a pretty cool npc questline.
The optional boss is bullshit.

Especially on ng+
Holy fuck mad king crucifix + dark blade is 756 fucking AR on a halberd class weapon
The 60str hammer trivializes all other hammers by nearly oneshotting people in one combo
The DLC weapons are too strong

Nah I like the last boss. Hard but manageable.
The last boss is hard to learn, but fair when learned. The optional boss is a pain in the ass
The soundtrack for the DLC was absolutely amazing. It was all done by one person as well(Yuka Kitamura).
i think my only issue with the optional boss is the damage reduction thing because the attacks get easy to read and dodge once you know what you are looking for
The only thing I still struggle with is surviving his laser combo if I'm not safely under him, other then that he's cool.
The camera is sometimes a pain, but that's to be expected.
So apparently the UGS launch can outpoise the Ringed Knight Greatswords. Strap on that Zwei, I guess.
And I still have no idea how the fuck you're supposed to parry their L1s, if you even can. It looks like the thrusts are supposed to be easy to parry, but either the timing or the phantom range keeps throwing me off, I haven't managed to get the timing right once so far. The weapons are stupidly balanced, as expected of From's new retardbaby. The L1 combos for swinging two ultragreatswords and doing fucking acrobatics with them is roughly the same as to two-hand a single regular ultragreatsword, they can stunlock a lightly armoured character to death in a single combo, and they have better damage on their single swings than almost any other UGS.
But then, maybe I can't complain- I got the Ledo's to play with, and I might be in love. It's like having Smough's hammer, only it isn't dumb-looking or ugly enough to turn people to stone at first sight!
Still haven't managed to find a proper Fashion Souls setup, either.

Imo, learning bosses is the cheater's way to victory. You have to see what he's starting to do, panic, and hope you're dodging in the right direction at the right time
tl;dr if you don't lesion your brain to reduce ability to form memories you're a scrub
First time every time, eh?

So uh, the boss invasion glitch is back for those interested.
Has anyone had any experience with the aqcuamarine dagger? I had some guy with it on the arena that kept outranging my dragonslayer spear with the WA. Also, Splitleaf Greatsword spin is magic against people using quick step.
