Sorceror is far easier in some places. In others, it's hell. Ever tried taking out one of those royal guard giants in Anor Londo with a staff and dagger? Ain't easy. Not to mention O&S themselves, who I'm afraid to take on without some very heavily armoured thugs to tank hits for me.

How's the PC dark souls playing? Good? entertaining?
I also do want to ask how fast can one get themselves ready for PvP on the PC version? I remember hearing how you could be ready in a manner of minutes, compared to hours on 360/PS3.
Just get a divine weapon, roll dodge and pick them off one by one.
If you really want to finish without getting the timing down though, DWGR + Wolf Ring + Divine Weapon does the trick.
Get a Claymore and bring it along the path that scales with int or chaos. Those things are big and intimidating but they are horribly easy to stunlock lol

18 INT and 18 FAI? What are you trying to do the GSoA:C or Ags build?
Stay in the area you dropped into and do not move forward. In that case, you only need to fight Nito as the otrher mobs will not be aggroed.

It doesn't work though for the small skeletons, but that will keep the large skeletons out of the fight. Nito's AOE blasts (and his huge bulk) would make the small skeletons an non-issue in this fight anyway. Anyway if you are not some kind of Faith Build but have 16 STR/22 DEX, it is good idea to bring the Silver Knight Spear to this fight. It is the only weapon in the game that has a holy modifier but doesn't require any kind of faith stat investment.
Not really a 'build'. Just for fun, really. Want to use all the Artorias gear together. :3
My main is BK armor and BK greataxe+5. Since it's rare, people who invade me have no idea how to time the blocks, so I generally rape them right through their pants.

Also, can you really get the flamberge-looking things those electric snake bastards quadruple-wield? Been trying for a while now, using the covetous gold ring, but nothing. Not even a man-serpent greatsword, which is weird, since I got about half a dozen of those on my last character without humanity or the ring.

So, Dexterity. Does it actually increase swing speed, or is that just a marginal thing at level 40 Dex?

It does not. It does (slightly) increase the cast speed of (some) Pyromancies and Sorceries, though.
the dex cap for casting time (for sorceries) decrease is 40.
Doesn't affect swing speed.

Just got this game. Started out as a knight, but died too much on the first freaking area so I went for the deprived class instead. Yeah, it was much faster than the knight and made me feel like a cave man so fuck yeah.
I beat the Asylum Demon with some black firebombs that I got as my gift. Then I yoinked his great hammer.
