Still don't understand why there's a Great Club and a large club.
the AR difference is about 30 in favour of GC when you're at 40 STR. if you want to do as much damage as possible on a STR build without the huge stat investment you need for things like the demon greataxe, GC is the way to go. in a few respects LC is better since it's one unit lighter, has the exact same poise break, innate poison, and a sick 1hR2, but i guess the tradeoff is that it's harder to get early on since you have to farm it off the fat guys at the entrance to blighttown. whereas GC you can just grab from the moment you get into lordran and proceed to annihilate everything in your path.
last night around SL80 I was down in tomb of the giants. some guy named keemstar invades me with a full leeroy cosplay. he lasted two hits. GC+15 is terrifying.
