"Hahahah! Whatever ya say man. If ya get in my way I'll slam you right back down!" If this goody two shoes knight thought he could take Berserker on he was going to find out the hard way that he was in for a surprise.

With anticipation brimming on his beaming face, Berserker gripped the enormous mechanical axe with one hand. Twisting it around a few times he could the rush of adrenaline as the energy before a fight began to reach its apex.

Defender sighed. Yeah, that seemed more like what he expected from a Berserker. It was rare to find one that talked, but the sloppy movements and crude mannerisms? Definitely a Berserker. Well, it shouldn't be an issue. The axe didn't look like it fit with the appearance of his opponent. It made Defender wonder where it must have come from. Defenders own sword was finely wrought, one of the finest weapons he had ever seen while he was alive.

It should not be that long before the fight started. Defender readied his weapon with a few swings, the artificial light flashing off of the blade. Soon enough things would change, so long as he continued these fights. After this opponent he would almost be at the end of this ordeal.

After you Berserker had finished his taunts, the elevator continued to go down for a minute before stopping. In contrary to your expectation, the elevator opened up on opposite sides. Berserker's door opened to the right while Defender's door opened to the left. After getting out of the elevator, there was a small tunnel about a minute's run long. At the end of the tunnel, you were greeted by a forest bustling with life. Birds, squirrels, and deer could be seen roaming the forest. To Defender, this reminded him of one of his final moments. To Berserker, it reminded him of his childhood.

You turned around to discover that the tunnel you have left has been replaced by a gate with a staircase going up a hill. This staircase was directed in the direction of your enemy.

As Berserker entered the forest he felt the energies of natural wildlife flood through his every pore as if he was absorbing them. Through the thick cover of trees he could see the occasional ray of sun darting through the leaves, and even though it was unnecessary he left his stylish pair of sunglasses on his eyes.

But still he was not satisfied, it has been so long since he has seen surroundings like these, he wanted to run around! To explore! To live yet again!

"OOHHHHH YYEAAAAAHHHHH!"

Throwing his enormous axe into the ground he stretched his body and took a deep breath as a huge grin covered his face. All this was quickly followed by him throwing his body to the ground as he felt the soft grass tickling him through his silky white shirt. He wanted to have fun, but before he could continue a numbing sensation stretched through his head causing him to pause momentarily. Sitting up again he crossed his arms and legs as if to pout against the forceful sensation stretching through his head.

"No, I don't wanna. Don't wanna, don't wanna...."

But it would not leave him alone, realizing this Berserker stood up and ran towards the nearest tree and easily climbing the branches where he came face to face with a small bird happily tweeting away.

"Hey you there, ya feeling golden today? Do me a favor would ya? There should be another fella somewhere here similar to myself but far more lame. Go find him for me would ya? And spread the news, thanks a bunch!~"

Simply tweeting in response the bird quickly flew away followed by numerous other animals following in its wake. They would take care of things for him, while they searched he continued to explore the open expanse of trees almost like a newborn monkey who had just learned to swing between the branches.

Defender looked around. Trees as far as the eye could see. All of them artificial constructs through the Moon Cell though, but they certainly felt real. It bothered him. Though he was skilled at holding his own, it was the kind of area where the enemy would be able to run and hide. A prolonged battle was fine with him, but not one where his opponent could continue to keep to the shadows. His sword flickered to life, fire running down the blade. This kind of terrain, the easiest solution would be to force the enemy to his position. All it would take is to start a fire and let it continue. Soon enough Berserker would be forced into attacking, and then Defender would have him.

It had started slowly enough, but as Defender felled yet another tree the fire grew. It was strong enough now that it was unlikely Berserker could stop it, and the fire continued onward. His sword stopped glowing with fire, as Defender rested his blade in the dirt. As smoke filled the air, it was time to wait. Soon enough Berserker would approach him, and when that happened he would be prepared for him.

The bird you sent out did find Defender's position... And so did all of the other animals thanks to the fire that Defender started. Thankfully, the bird decided to go slightly into the flames to find Defender's general area.

The bird did confirm your hunch that Defender was on the other side of the hill and that there was some structure in the middle. The thing was that you had no idea how far away he was. Oh well at least you have a general idea.
