    Show us your rig!!!

    I have a 'gaming' laptop

    sort of

    I kinda regret getting it, I probably should have gotten a mid-range laptop and built a gaming rig instead but oh well It works great and all

    But it has this heating problem, like, it sometimes overheats and hibernates to save itself

    I didn't feel like getting a laptop cooling pad (not that they make any big enough for my laptop anyways) I set up a ghetto cooling rig



    A small desk fan with my laptop propped up by a coupon book. It works surprisingly well. Like, really, really well. Internal temps never exceed 50C when before, it was hitting nearly 90C

    Anyways, specs

    Core i7 Q270
    Radeon HD 5650
    8gb of ram
    7200rpm hard drive

    cost me about 900 bucks.

    So what are your guys's computers like?

    Well, let's see. Desktop rig, i5-2500k (no OC), 8 GB at 1333, 1 TB 7200, a HD 6950... aaand I think that's what's worth telling. I like him.

    Running on Radeon HD 5700, AMD Phenom II X6, 8GB RAM and an almost full 1TB HD. And my sister's headphones, 'cause I'm cheap.

    I got fed up with being unable to find parts and upgrade my AGP box so I got this half a year ago. My old box has been delegated for net-surfing/clerical duties.
