I thought about going with a full-Saber was possessed in F/Z idea, but if I went that route the entire thing would've gotten away from me and been like a full blown route, not just Alter-instead-of-Saber-for-Fate. I'll see if I get the motivation to do something completely altering the FSN story. Altering, heh.

Eh, I hinted that she was going to use Vortigern against Assassin, but really, the fighting wasn't much of the point to the story other than she obviously fights differently than regular Saber--she blocks Berserker instead of dodges, she doesn't dance around Rider and just kind of bitches her instead. Everything else was kind of irrelevant.

Urgh... "Vortigern" <= who the heck thought to name her sword that? It's just the dark aspect of Excalibur. I refuse to acknowledge that name as canon. Vortigern was just a less villain. To name the dark aspect of the mightiest sword after him is near criminal.

Yay! I've been waiting for the second part of this, and it didn't disappoint. Saber's growing affection for her chef and combat butler was adorable, and the way her motivation was different, but now an even stronger reflection of Shirou's distortion was sublime.
