[Sign: Good. I've read pregnant fics that jump from "OMG! I'M PREGNANT" directly to "D'AWW! HONEY, IT LOOKS LIKE YOU" in one or very few (read: one or two) chapters. Not rushing this part can give us a lot of character development. Raising a child is HARD, even when it isn't born yet, what makes the pregnancy months a life changing event to both parents.]
