maybe Nasu and his companions think he is too modern-day to be a HF, which he probably is.
he also probably is from a time when Transsylvania wasnt called Transsylvania anymore since they changed the countrie's name in the modern day, so....

Well, if you consider 15th century modern... And he is not John. Blame stupid English version of his name. It's Janos. He was the ruler of Transilvania and the one who kicked Vlad from Walachia.
Close enough, however he was the leader of Transilvania around one of Vlads rule, was a cool by the book leader that died preemptively to a disease and I happen to really like the few stories we had of him in my folklore.
But the point I was trying to make was that VLAD WAS NEVER THE LEADER OF TRANSILVANIA

Where's it say leader? He was born in Transylvania. That's not enough to be a hero of Transylvania?
Ok I’ll bite. Yes I am wiling to say Vlad was likely to be viewed as a hero there as well as in Moldova and Wallachia, and yes I am bold enough to say that he may be viewed as a bigger hero then any other Transilvanian or Moldovian hero by some people.
BUT he was acknowledged in there as a hero of Transylvania and not of Romania as a whole, which makes me more inclined to believe the author is a lazy ass then me over thinking it.
I’m also a proud son of bitch when it comes to these stuff.

You won't believe how long I've waited for this!! ever since I accidentally came across Karna's Typemoon Wiki page, there hasn't been a single day where I haven't checked for new updates or news about Fate/Apocrypha. My favorite Hero is a Servant and he hasn't been nerf'ed? Hell Yeahz!!
I can't wait for Karna to appear!xD !!
I just hope Karna is as badass as in the legend and more than anything, I hope his story hasn't been Nasu'd beyond the 'Bearable Limit'.
