I wouldn't call Risei particularly dangerous.
One of the material books states that Risei was a Baji Quan practitioner, too.
Have you seen Takeuchis scribbles of shirtless Risei? Guy is the most toned old man since Muten-Roshi.

I am of the personal belief that the Tsukihime Remake is two years from release. It will remain as such until a release date is announced, at which time its actual release date is 6 months after that date.
