I know Super Spin is described as something that can only be achieved with a combination of a rider on a horse with stirrups, and it requires the horse to achieve its natural speed for the rider to be able to do it, but I wonder, is it impossible to do with a man-made vehicle such as a motorcycle as long as you have some reference for the Golden Rectangle?

Nvm. Just reread the chapter that describes it. The rotation itself can only be produced by the horse itself and not by its speed alone.

Though now that I think of it, would the metal horse Avicebron made for Vlad work? It is technically a horse, but it's also a golem.

Watched ep 3 this morning. Polpo was portrayed really well. For what's on the face of it a pretty goofy character design and concept, they did a very good job of making him come off as genuinely creepy and inhuman. It's been a while since I read that part of the manga (got up to around the Sale/Kraftwerk arc before being distracted by other things), but I think I had a much stronger impression of him from the anime.

The rest of the episode was good too. I feel like Giorno would've been smarter to just explain to Koichi what happened and give him his ID back (since he wanted to do so anyway) rather than try to sneak the lighter away and risk it being extinguished elsewhere. Then again, if he'd done that we wouldn't have a plot for the next episode.

And I love how DP managed to subtly foreshadow (pun intended) Black Sabbath's true power with the scene where the shadow ripples like water after Giorno steps on it. Can't remember if that scene was in the manga, but it's cool.

Agreed about Polpo. He was well-cast, and I believe his VA also played Itachi from Naruto? As for the whole Giorno trying to hide the lighter from Koichi, I kinda understand where he came from, since if Koichi saw him, he might be liable to attack him on the spot after their previous struggle mere hours before. Finally, like how Giorno channeled his inner Jonathan when Black Sabbath killed the janitor, and also when Jonathan's leitmotif played at the beginning when Giorno recruited Bruno.

No, but if you get stabbed by it and don't have the potential to create a Stand, then you will die no matter where you're hit. Besides, the arrow has a will of its own and seems to target the throat. In any case, Part V does have some important information about the arrows later on, so I'd sit tight 'till then.

it was nice of them to put the gun on focus in that one shot. It's not something you'll think if when watching it for the first time, but a really neat way of hyping up source readers/repeat viewers.

Random question, but do you think GER could defeat Ultimate Kars, and if it couldn't, could Made in Heaven? Personally, I believe GER could, but not MiH.

I was dancing around spoilers but Kars doesn't literally face down GER but the novel shows how he has an interesting relationship with Stands as the Ultimate Lifeform which complicates any potential matchups with them.

But then again the novel isn't strictly canon so feel free to disregard it.

Though it does remind me that Ultimate Kars really should've been the final boss of Eyes of Heaven, but obviously they went with DIO for Star power.

And even with DIO as the final boss, it should have been Jonathan positioned as his main rival, not Jotaro because this whole thing started as HIS conflict after all. Unfortunately, I could only see it ending with DIO and Jonathan's bodies exploding on contact, leaving both of them as heads.

^ To expand on that, rather than Jotaro randomly gaining the ability to fight The World Over Heaven they should have indeed had Jonathan stab himself with the Stand Arrow as a final resort, gain a Stand and rumble with DIO.

Would've way more epic.
