Without a doubt he wouldn't WANT to be a DAA, but would the rest of the community scout him out and even count him as an unnumbered DAA like Roa? Also, what's an Ultimate One again? Haven't read Tsukihime.

Not sure why the Ripple would do anything to affect the virus capsules, beyond maybe preventing the disease from spreading. Have you read Purple Haze Feedback? It's funny that you mentioned that, because of the part 1 plot element that PHF addresses.

I mostly thought that since light counters the spread of the virus, it could be a counter to the actual haze. Also, I know a Stone Mask appears, but I haven't read PHF yet. Am going to look it up right now, actually.

Also, yeah, Hamon is implied to be similar to UV light in wavelength (hence why the Nazi UV lenses work), and the sun has plenty of UV rays. Also, thanks.

Could Hamon be a counter for Purple Haze?

Unknown, the virus created by Purple Haze is weak to photons and it is not confirmed if Hamon produces this. But even if Hamon could counter it, I wouldn't bet my chances on a Hamon user surviving as even if they can see Stands and subsequently the virus - it's an incredibly fast acting and kills humans within seconds so you'd be hard pressed to summon your Hamon in time once it's infected you.

He definitely wouldn't be an Ultimate One since he isn't the embodiment of a Celestial Body. He also wouldn't be a True Ancestor since he wasn't created by Gaia/Brunestud. At most he might be able to covert a spot on the DAA list since he is a man-eating creature.
