As for Diavolo's and Trish's souls being identical to Bucciarati, that's the one thing I actually won't call bullshit on. They are closely related, and Trish can sense Diavolo's presence, so it makes sense that their souls are very similar or identical. In any case, it seems souls and bloodlust are separate, since Diavolo's bloodlust only made itself apparent when Polnareff showed up, but not before then.

Just watched the latest episode this afternoon. Mista and Trish's reaction to swapping bodies was hilarious. "Why are my fingers so hairy?" "If you reach under my skirt again I'll kill you!" Never change, you two.
Props to the VAs for managing to make believable impersonations. Giornos in particular managed to instantly sell me on him being Narancia. You just HEAR it.
The bodyswap dialogue scenes were pure kino.
Exactly. All of the impressions required serious acting chops, and the cast had it. Also, Narancia's impression of Giorno had some serious Deku vibes, but that is only expected.
So, for years when I'd heard the phase Polneraff gets stuck in a turtle, I assumed that his soul was stuck in the pocket dimension that's a part of said turtle and couldn't leave or he'd die.
Then this week a turtle delivers a plot heavy monologue. Jojo is amazing.

Started Legend of the Galactic Heroes (14/07/23), pray for me.
Right now, his soul is in Coco Jumbo's body, but eventually, he will be stuck in the room because his body is dead, and Mr. President is an extremely strong Stand that can sustain his Soul. Not really much of a spoiler, so I didn't mark it.

So I'm curious about something. Now that we know how Requiem Stands are created, was Killer Queen Bites The Dust a Requiem Stand?
It was created when Kira got pierced a second time by the Stand arrow, after all. On the other hand, the change in ability between normal Killer Queen and Bites The Dust wasn't nearly as great as what we've been shown of Requiem Stands so far. (Going from a short-range melee-type Stand to one can that control the souls of an entire city).
Any thoughts?

Fair enough. It would make sense if only Polnareff's arrow could create Requiem Stands. That would explain the otherwise plothole of Gold Experience getting nicked by the arrow in the Black Sabbath fight and not going Requiem.
I don't see how that makes it any less plothole-y.
I don't recall any indication that the Arrows have individual powers?

It's fanon to try and explain this. Only Pol's arrow has the fully designed insect, and only it has been shown to trigger Requiem Stands.
There are requirements other than just being shot with the arrow again, no? Spiritual strength, or something similar? Plus, it's possible Requiem versions of Stands work off the base Stand - that is, the stronger the original Stand, the stronger the Requiem version. Those could account for why Killer Queen "just" got Bites the Dust, and why a relatively-undeveloped Gold Experience didn't get anything from Black Sabbath's arrow.
...Actually, was Giorno even nicked by Sabbath's arrow? I seem to remember him dodging it because he thought he would die if it actually hit him.
Gold Experience definitely had Black Sabbath's arrow go straight through it with nothing happening. Also, based on spoilers, I feel the Requiem power Stands gain is based on need, just like how if a person is pierced again by the arrow, they get a power they need (in Kira's case, Bites the Dust to reverse Hayato's death).
My head cannon is that Sabbath's stab is what got rid of that backlash effect Gold Experience had in the start.

So... probably off-topic but as someone who sometimes likes to design fighting game movesets in my spare time, would anyone here be interested in seeing movesets for some JoJo characters that haven't been featured in the official fighting games? I did one for Secco a few days ago and I have movesets for Squalo, Risotto and a WIP for Diavolo (yes I know he's been done officially, but I'm doing a different take on him). Mainly focused on part 5 since that's what I'm following now.
Any thoughts? Sorry of this comes out like I'm begging for feedback. I just think it'd be weird to revive the dead moveset thread with posts nobody would be interested in reading... Alternatively, if you have your own ideas for how certain JoJo characters could play in a fighting game, I'd love to hear them as well.
