Well, um... in Prism Ilya Shirou still seems to be Emiya Shirou, so I'm assuming that Iri took Kiritsugu's family name or something, so that would make Ilya an Emiya.
Shirou will eventually become Shirou Pendragon, yes. He'll ask Kiritsugu for permission to change his name when he gets older and make Saber all mushy.

On Shirou and Ilya's last names in Prisma Ilya verse, the manga did have a bit where it discussed it. Apparently, there was something about Iri and Kiritsugu not being properly married before Kiritsugu adopted Shirou, thus, Shirou's last name is Emiya, after Kiritsugu, and Ilya, born to Irisviel before the "proper marriage" got Von Einsbern as her last name... I think that's how it was, I'll need to look up the manga again to be sure though...

Given the presence of Saber, I presume it's some strange fusion of the Prisma Ilya verse and the Fate verse, where the backstory and the events before Shirou's adoption happened like Fate canon, mostly (obviously, since Iri and Maiya are alive, and Saber's around). Actually, now that I think about it, the only real similarity between this fic's setting and Prisma Ilya is that the Emiyas are one big happy family, since I doubt Zel would be sending Rin/Luvia to collect Servant cards with Ruby and Saphire... That kind of implies that the 5th War is still going to happen, but who knows, maybe whatever happened that let Iri and Maiya live also shut down the Grail Wars for good...
If the 5th Holy Grail War does happen though... Honestly, with this many changes, it's going to be completely different from the start, so I don't have a clue where to even start predicting how it'd go...
Isn't it "ap", not "ab"? "ap" means "son of", and Shirou is male, so....
apparently, both ap and ab are acceptable. I just thought it flowed better with ab. "daughter of" would've been "ferch".
Ah, OK.
I'm not Welsh, and I don't speak a word of the language, but my surname is apparently derived from a Welsh surname of that form (using "ap"), hence why I have some knowledge of it.
neither am I. I just hang around arthurian groups a lot.
