Fragments is the story for now, since the original Prototype became Fate/Stay Night.
I'm sure TM will eventually make a proper Prototype story one day, but for now all there really is is Fragments.

Wha-? I wonder what happened...
How did I know the update was going to be about a delay. How did I know.
wonder what was Sakurai or Nasu thinking? Please don't turn Proto into another case of tsukihime or Berserk, I'm starting to fear that it'll stuck in fragment forever.
The notification on the website states production reasons but it doesn't go into specifics
May be related with how the story is taking an extra cd that apparently they had planned for the last drama cd

Every main Fate/ title is getting adaptations in other medias, I admit it was a little weird seeing Fragments getting a Drama CD instead of a manga and/or anime like the rest but it doesn't exclude the possibilities of getting either of them or proper proto in the future if TM manages to strike a deal with an animation studio or editorial
In the end is just a question of time and see what they have planned but at least this adaptations mean the Proto side of the franchise isn't dead or done, even if for technical problems is taking its time
Honestly, soundtrack 5 better be actually good. Last soundtrack was incredibly lackluster. Which is sad considering how grand the whole thing was supposed to be.
I think the main reason is that there is no telling how far or promising of the Prototype continuation is to warrant an anime for both fragment or Main Proto. Publisher will only green light Fragment anime if Prototype itself is set in stone to be the continuation of the series. It's more profitable to adapt a series that can maintain interest from tail to the end, but we don't even know if the series is under development to this day. It's kinda hard to tell, but the ultimate decision is up our author if they want to write Prototype. My hope for the final CD is that doesn't include a finalization note and let us hanging forever. What ever is added on I'm all in ear if it's some words from Nasu and Sakurai discussing or celebrating about prototype themselves.
iirc Nasu said something about his old dream of publishing the old Fate in bookshops, so I think he's actually planning to write and publish it with Sakurai.
Oh. Looks like Brynhildr Romantia being "really heavy spear" has a basis. Except it's Brunhild's.

Also now I'm 100% sure that Sakurai wrote LB2, that vomit-inducing baka-couple dialogue in Bryn's short story proves it

On that note, Manaka wank and some wasted potential aside, fragments is the best of Sakurai's fate work and I really hope she announces the intention PF continuing prototype this year, even more than before. I'm tired of this boring side stepping on the details of the war especially in FGO.
how much of Fate prototype fragments is translated?
do we have already a complete version of the volume 2?
if is that where I can find it?
if is posible a printable versión like the volume 1 u.u
And out comes the final CD cover, I really hope they announce something like how the case files anime and event were announced after the last novel.
Ozy looks rather regal, and considering the last novel's events a very fitting cover art
Yo that Para design is waaay better than his actual design, wtf. (Now just make him an old man)
And I was hoping for a completely new cover. Ozy's mouth in that pic scares me.
The info on the two last short stories is out
(there is also a trailer, but is region lock)
The first story is about Arthur dreaming
The second, on 1999, during the 2nd HGW, Arthur cooks for Ayaka
Mundane but cute
More Ayaka is great.
Hope she gets a pic in the booklet.
wow looking forward to that
