Thread: Create your own Modern Fiction Servants

  1. #3281
I know Belgarion was done rather early in this thread but here's my take on him:

    True Name: Belgarion of Riva
    Class:
    Saber
    Alternate Classes:
    Caster, Berserker
    Alignment: Neutral Good

    STR: A
    END: B
    AGI: B
    MAN: A
    LUK: E- (A+)

    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance: A(+)
Saber fought against and alongside spellcasters, many of them Heroic Spirits in their own right in life, giving him incredible resistance against magical attacks. He was especially targeted with mental attacks, including by a god, which he succesfully resisted giving him a rank up against such magecraft.

    Riding: C
Saber was a passable horseman and capable of commanding a sailing ship

    Personal Skills:

    Charisma: B
Saber was the both a King and Overlord of eleven other nations

The Will and Word: C (rank down due to summons as Saber)

A form of Magecraft similar to High Speed Divine Words that is capable of feats that border on Sorcery such as shapeshifting and teleportation. Saber mostly uses this skill to scout in the form of a wolf (which gives him the equivalent of Animal Dialogue for wolves) and to counter the magecraft of foes as well as minor feats of telekinesis and transmutation. Were he summoned as Caster he would be capable of raisining the dead and bainishing demons with but a word.

    Noble Phantasms:

Child of Light - The Chosen Instrument of Destiny
    Rank:
    A
    Type:
    Support
Saber's entire existence, down to the moment of his conception was prephecied millennia in advance. As such rather than his luck represting his ability to defy fate it instead reflects the degree to which fate itself conspires to change events to his advantage (thus his A+ luck). However to maintain this he must stay true to the core beliefs of the Prophecy of Light: That many with lesser power are together greater than a single all-powerful foe, and that the world can always be changed for the better.

Cthrag Yaska - The Sword of the Rivan King
    Rank:
    A (++++)
    Type:
    Anti-Fortress
The sword forged from a pair of fallen stars be Riva Iron-grip with the counsel of Belgarath the Sorceror First Disciple of the God Aldur, with which Saber slew the evil God Torak and the last dragon which was possesed by a demon lord would by itself be a Noble Phantasm of note. However the Pommel Stone of the Blade outshines the it by far. Known by many names including the Orb of Aldur and the Burning Stone it is reputed to be the very Heart of Creation itself. It carries the immense weight of the sword allowing Saber to wield it as if it were a feather and imbues it with a divine fire of sapphire hue which deals increased damage to foes of Divine, Demonic or Draconic origin and those of evil alignment. (the four pluses are for a theoretical evil demonic dragon-god), and also allows Saber to re-create the destruction of the Walls of Jarviksolm.

Notes: I figured the sword and the Orb were best combined into a single Np

Here's some sheets for a future fic I'm planning. Some feedback would be nice (and make me feel warm inside.)

    VHgoZ9G.jpg
    ---Berserker---
    Godzilla
    - The King of Monsters -

    Alignment : Chaotic Neutral
    ====================
    Strength : A
    Endurance : A++
    Agility : D
    Mana : B
    Luck : C+
    Noble Phantasm : A~EX

    ====================

    Character details
    Likes: Minya, Wrestling with Anguirus

    Dislikes: Japan, Rodan's "pecking"

    Special Talent: Collateral damage

    Natural Enemy: King Ghidorah

    Class Skills

    Mad Enhancement (EX)
A skill that augments an Servant's abilities in exchange of robbing them of their sanity. At EX-rank, all stats receive a rank up, but nearly all of the Servant's sanity is stolen from them.

Despite possessing the highest rank of [Mad Enhancement], Godzilla's mental state has gone completely unaffected. This is explained by Rodan as simple case of Godzilla "always" being enraged even when she is composed, her fury constantly simmering underneath the surface. Regardless of whatever class she is put in, she would always be cursed with [Mad Enhancement].

    Personal Skills

    Nuclear Burst (A)
Virtually identical to the skill [Mana Burst], it is the act of Godzilla increasing her strength and defenses by gathering nuclear energy into areas of her body then quickly jettisoning it.

    Battle Continuation (A)
A Servant's ability to continue fighting or escape during pitched combat. At A-rank, nothing short of a fatal blow or a command from her Master will stop Berserker.

    Monster Slayer (B)
Denotes a Servant's ability at facing opponents deemed "monsters." This includes not only Monstrous Beasts, but any being that has been labeled a "monster" in the eyes of humanity. In some cases, the ability can extend itself beyond Phantasmal Beasts entirely and can be used against those who would normally not be classified as "monsters", such as humans or other Servants.

Having fought more kaiju than any other monster in existence, Berserker is veteran of this skill. Most of her fellow kaiju stand no chance against her.

    Noble Phantasms

    The Monster Humanity Created
    Regenerator G-1
[Support] (A) (Range: self Target: self)

The secret behind Godzilla's amazing durability. It is a mutated substance in her cells that grants her regenerative abilities, letting her recover from severe wounds at a significantly higher rate than normal for a Servant or even kaiju. It also bolsters her already godly constitution. As long as Godzilla's heart remains intact she can regenerate from any wound, including decapitation.

Although, wounds suffered through Magecraft or conceptual weapons like those of the Holy Church, heal no faster than usual and can penetrate Godzilla's defenses.

Roar of the King of Monsters!
    Atomic Breath
    [Anti-unit~Anti-City] (C~EX) (Range: 8~EX Target: 1~EX)

It is the trademark(ed) attack of the King of Monsters, having been her ultimate weapon since the day she rose from the Tokyo Bay. Charging all of her nuclear energy into her dorsal scutes, Godzilla then lets loose a blue atomic beam from her mouth. The strength of the beam fired can be augmented: Ranging from a relatively light [Anti-unit] attack, to a unstoppable canon of destruction, capable of decimating entire city districts.

This Noble Phantasm has no limit, and its maximum output is equivalent to however much nuclear energy Godzilla has access to.

I just had to post these two at the same time.

    iDpL3yy.jpg
    ---Lancer---
    King Ghidorah
    - The King of Dragons -

    Alignment : Lawful Evil
    ====================
    Strength : B
    Endurance : B
    Agility : A
    Mana : A
    Luck : D
    Noble Phantasm : A+++
    ====================

    Character Details
    Likes: Extinction

    Dislikes: Gaia, Alaya, Counter Guardians

    Special Talent: Eradication

    Natural Enemy: Godzilla

    Class Skills

    Magic Resistance: (A)
A Servant's resistance to magic. Being an alien entity to Earth, none of its laws should bind Lancer and magic should be worthless against her. However, due to the restrictions put on Lancer by her class container, her rank has been lowered to A.

    Personal Skills

    Riding (A)
While normally representing a Servant's skill in riding various mounts, in Lancer's case it denotes her skill in flight. At A-rank, Lancer can reach mach 3 speeds.

    Nemesis (EX)

A status attributed to Lancer who proves to not only be the greatest threat to humanity, but the entirety of planet Earth. Should she should begin her rampage anew, even the will of the planet might not be enough to stop her.

While on this foreign world, Lancer is recognized as the "ultimate predator", the apex of the apex, and her enemy's parameters will always be just one rank below her own.

    Mana Burst (Lightning) (A++)
A special form of Mana Burst that uses lightning. Lancer's mastery of this skill allows her to replicate magnetic properties through her electrical discharges.

    Noble Phantasms

    Enemy of the World
    Keizer
    [Anti-unit] (A) (Range: 1-3 Target: 1 person)

Ghidorah's spear. It takes the form of a golden trident, created from Ghidorah's extra heads which were not materialized when she was summoned as a Servant. Due to being made from Ghidorah herself, the spear is considered an alien entity like she herself is and is also considered the [Nemesis] of the planet. Defenses granted from Thaumaturgy are easily pierced by Keizer. Though, the Sacraments of the Church are exempt from this.

While Keizer is impressive in its own right, its true purpose is revealed when the King of Dragons turns the spear on herself. By piecing herself with Keizer, Ghidorah and the spear meld into one, allowing her to achieve her ultimate form - Keizer Ghidorah. While in this form, Ghidorah's missing heads are restored, as well as some of the powers she originally possessed as a kaiju.

For as I Am the King of Dragons, I Am the Mother of Serpents
    Kinggidrah
    [Anti-Army] (A+++) (Range: 1-20 Target: 300 person)

The ultimate Noble Phantasm of King Ghidorah which can only be used while she has all three of her heads.

When a young Ghidorah arrived on Earth for the first time, her hunger drove her to devour nearly every dinosaur populating it. Reptilian corpses were not the only things Ghidorah left behind, however. She also left scales.

The Hydra, Yamato-no-Orochi, Nehebkau - all of these creatures of legend are merely descendents of Ghidorah, born from the remnants she littered about the Earth during her Cretaceous genocide. As the mother of these serpents, their collective essence belongs to her, and being the king that she is, Ghidorah weaponizes them thoroughly.

Manifesting as the heads of countless serpents, Ghidorah launches Kinggidrah at her foe like a storm of serpentine ballistas. Each serpent breaks Mach 5 speeds, and hits with the density of loaded freight trains. Only a bloody mist of whomever Kinggidrah's target is remains.

    King.jpg

    Class: Lancer
    Name: King or Harlequin
    Alignment: Neutral Good

    Strength: E
    Endurance: B
    Agility: A
    Mana: A+
    Luck: D
    Noble Phantasm: A+

King is one of seven false knights known throughout Britannia as “The Seven Deadly Sins”. Bearing the title “Grizzly’s Sin of Sloth”, King strives to atone for the death and destruction caused by his absence. He originally was the Fairy King Harlequin, the guardian saint of the Fountain of Youth and protector of the Fairy King’s Forest. When his friends were captured by greedy humans looking to rip their wings off, Harlequin left the forest, but was badly injured, resulting in him having amnesia. He eventually recovered his memories, only to find out that his neglect had caused the destruction of the Fairy King’s Forest, the death of his sister, and the deaths of many humans at the hands of his vengeful old friend, Helbram. He was imprisoned for several centuries, until he was able to join the Seven Deadly Sins.

    Class Skills

    Magic Resistance: B

    Personal Skills

    Shapeshift: C Rank
Can shapeshift into a human and change his clothes at will, though the technique requires a great deal of concentration.

Protection of the Fairies: B Rank
A blessing from Elementals; the capacity to increase one’s Luck in dangerous situations. Activation is limited to battlefields, where it is possible to perform feats of arms. As the Fairy King, Harlequin’s rank was originally A++, but after abandoning his people, the Rank decreased.

    Noble Phantasms

    Disaster – Fairy King’s Dominion
    Rank: B
This Noble Phantasm represents the unique magic ability that King was able perform in life. It is less a form of magecraft than it is an exercise of his right as Fairy King to manipulate life and death. With it, the user can elevate or diminish the natural state of something. A slight scratch can develop into a sever wound, mild poisons become lethal toxins, and a small tumor can rapidly spread throughout the body. It gives him ultimate authority over nature, letting it grow and propagate or wither and decay as he sees fit.

Chasteifol – Spear of the Sacred Fairy Tree
    Rank: D~A+
A holy weapon crafted from a sacred tree found in the Fairy Realm, its true potential is brought out only by the Fairy King. It has numerous forms, but the form it most often takes is that of a long, broad spear with two out-turned lugs at the base of its head. King can control it telekinetically. Even if it is damaged in some way, it will regenerate.
In addition to its regular spear form, it can transform into: a large mossy bear, a twin-headed trident capable of petrifying opponents, a giant shoot with a flower that shoots several projectiles, countless kunai-like spears, a sphere of light, and a barrier of pollen that both protects and heals. Its true form, however, is that of a flaming spear with a single eye in the center. Though this power is very taxing on his body, King can use it to boost all of his stats a full rank for a short amount of time.

Okay I am loving those sheets of Godzilla and King Ghidorah. Totally awesome and hilarious, giving the Arturia treatment to two of contemporary fiction's most famous monsters. I especially like the idea of giving Ghidorah what amounts to basically Gate Of Babylon only launching entire friggin serpents at the opponent instead of swords. So, are you getting your warm fuzzy feelings yet AvengerEmiya?

I decided to try to stat one of my favorites. And hey, she is already existence close to that of Servant's. My only hope is that I didn't wank her too much.

True Name: Riesbyfe Stridberg, Maiden of the Holy Shield
    Class: Shielder
    Alternate Classes: Caster
    Alignment: Lawful Good

    STR: A
    END: B+
    AGI: C
    MGI: C
    LCK: D
    NP: B

    Class Skills:

    Guardian Knight: B
Temporarily raises defensive power when protecting others. Servant receives rank up to Endurance and Strength when defending another person. Shielder's strenght of morals and her own loyalty to friends caused her to stand tall before Dead Apostle Ancestor for the sake of giving her best friend a time to escape from great monster, despite knowing she had no chance of victory. Even after her death, when summoned as just a thrall of TATARI, Shielder continued to protect her friend, going against her temporary master in spite of danger it presented to her existence.

    Magic Resistance: B(D)
Grants protection against magical effects by cancelling all spells with chant below three verses. While Shielder's natural Magic Resistance is barely existent, her Noble Phantasm allows her to stand firm against even potent magecraft of Dead Apostles.

    Personal Skills:

    Battle Continuation: C
Strength of vitality for predicaments. Also, the ability to withdraw from combat and reach allied territory alive after being defeated. Allows for continued fighting at full capacity even when heavily wounded, though it doesn't protect from lethal blows.

    Baptism Rite: C
Type of magecraft that changed style into a church form. It is especially effective against spiritual entities. As a member of a Holy Church, Shielder is competent in use of its sacraments in combat, though it is not her primary focus.

    Eye for Art (Music): C+
Infatuation with works of art. If Shielder is in presence of Noble Phantasm or a Servant that is connected in a way with music (be it songs about those or causing effects based on sound), she has a fair chance of guessing their true name. Shielder receives small boost to the skill if the music in question is a classical western music.

    Noble Phantasms:

Gamaliel: True Apocrypha of Heavenly Song
    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Unit
Holy Scripture of Church that served as Shielder's main weapon for years until her death. A conceptual shield representing dual concepts of rejection of supernatural and purification. It passively grants Shielder Magic Resistance of B-rank and immunity to mental interference. Shielder can channel her prana trough the shield, activating runes grafted into it, though their use is effective mostly in defense.
Upon declaring the name of her Noble Phantasm, Shielder thrusts forward to impale her enemy on the spike of her pile bunker and recites short prayer. Upon completing it, wounded opponent is sealed withing small bounded field for three to seven seconds, where they receive damage from holy light. Due to its nature, Gamaliel deals greater damage to inhuman opponents, especially Dead Apostles. Opponents who survive this attack must pass MGI check or they get dazzled for few minutes.

Been on a big Code Geass binge lately so I've decided to post up this sheet tonight. I think a few other people have posted a Lelouch sheet on this thread or elsewhere, so hopefully mine's unique enough to distinguish itself LOL. I'm aware that his Zero NP is basically a rip of Mordred's Secret Of Pedigree but what can I say, such an ability just seemed fitting for him. Also please don't give any CG spoilers in the comments, considering I'm yet to finish the series as of posting this.

    Servant Assassin:

    True Name: Lelouch vi Britannia

    Alignment: Chaotic "Good"

    Strength- E
    Agility- E
    Endurance- E
    Mana- C++
    Luck- EX
    NP- A

    Appearance:

Personality: Lelouch is a highly intelligent individual who is also calm, sophisticated, and arrogant due to his aristocratic upbringing. While at school, Lelouch conducts himself as a sociable, likeable, and often easygoing student. However, this is really a mask to hide his true nature. While as Zero his true nature is expressed. His charisma and beliefs in justice gain him the trust and respect of many soldiers and leaders. In battle he is very cold and tactical, willing to sacrifice civilians and soldiers alike to accomplish his ends. But in his heart, he cares deeply for his loyal subordinates (particularly Kallen) and his heart is burdened with regrets for every civilian who died at his hands. He is a doting big brother and all his actions are for the sake of creating a better, kinder future for his little sister Nunnally.

    Likes: Nunnally, Kallen, Shirley
    Dislikes: racism, Holy Britannian Empire
Talents: chess, turning the tides of battle, world revolution
Natural Enemy: Charles vi Britannia, Suzaku

    Class Skills:

Presence Concealment (-)- due to the effects being subsumed under his Zero Noble Phantasm, this Skill is rendered unusable.

    Personal Skills:

Eye Of The Mind (True) (A)- Calm analysis of battle situation and conclusion of action during a tight spot through "theory of battle". At this rank, the Servant is capable of calmly analyzing events no matter the situation. As long as there is possibility for victory, he is able to devise a plan to exploit that possibility, even at the level of bringing forth a miracle.
"Even messiahs need to perform miracles if they are to be acknowledged. Therefore we have to produce our own miracle, don't we?"

Charisma (A)- Natural talent in commanding and inspiring large numbers. At this rank, the Servant can capably inspire and lead armies of virtually any size as well as found an entire country.

Riding (C+)- ability to ride vehicles and animals. For Assassin, this Skill mainly takes form as the ability to ride formidable mechanized suits known as "Knightmare Frames". However he was not famous for "riding" them with any exceptional skill, being more a tactician than a fighter.

Subversive Activities (A)- ability to increase the chances of victory prior to an engagement through strategic use of traps. At this rank, roughly 60% of the enemy's military force can be incapacitated prior to beginning an engagement. However at higher levels, it erodes one's existence as a Heroic Spirit.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty. Isn't that right, Clovis?"

Pioneer Of The Stars (EX)- a unique Skill given to heroes that became turning points in the human history. All difficult voyages and challenges which are considered "impossible" turn into "events that can be realized". In life, Assassin was someone who challenged and obtained many seemingly impossible victories against the Holy Britannian Empire, a fiercesome military force controlling a good percentage of the world.

Guardian Knight (B)- defensive abilities are temporarily raised while fighting to protect others.
"Those with power, fear us! Those without, rally behind us! We of the Black Knights will be the ones to pass judgement upon this world!"

    Noble Phantasms:

Zero- Mask Of Concealed Nobility (C, Support): the helm that Lelouch donned to assume his alter-ago as the infamous terrorist/freedom fighter "Zero", used to conceal his true identity as an exiled Britannian prince from the world. While he's wearing the mask, all information concerning his Noble Phantasms, Personal Skills and identity will be hidden from all discerning eyes, including those of his own Master. Even his very existence as a Servant is concealed, giving an effect similiar to very low-ranking Presence Concealment. However the effect only applies while he is actually wearing the mask and will be negated if it's knocked off or removed in any way. The helm also has a small section over his right eye that can slide open to allow use of his Geass.

    Geass
    - The Power Of The King (A, Anti-Mind): "Geass", the forbidden power given to Lelouch by the mysterious witch C.C, with which he sought to wage war against the Britannian Empire. Embodying as an unnatural V-shaped symbol showing in his right eye (see his Appearance section for details), it allows him to give absolute commands that cannot be disobeyed, the only requirement being that he has eye-contact with the victim while making his command. This effect bypasses Magic Resistance regardless of rank, although it can still be thwarted by Skills granting immunity to mental interference (such as Vitrification and Soul Of A Martyr). Its power is similiar in fuction to a Command Seal, although unlike a Command Seal it cannot be used to make the target do something that would normally be physically impossible. Also, it can only be used on a once-per-person basis. Those who have been Geassed will possess a tell-tale mark in the form of an orange ring around their irises. It is said that whoever possesses such an inhuman power would be doomed to a life of solititude, however if it means protecting those he cares about then Assassin would willingly shoulder such a burden.

Black Knights- The Knights Of Justice (B++, Anti-Army): aside from Geass, Assassin's other great power was his military force, the Black Knights which he used to wage war against the Britannian Empire and his father, Charles. The forces consist of a tactical squad of armored mechanical suits, "Knightmare Frames" which move on roller-blade like foot mounted treads giving them a great deal of agility as well as being able to fire off grappling-hook like projectiles called "Slash Harkens". In life they were pilotted by his fellow teammates in the Black Knights, but as a Heroic Spirit it is the machines themselves that come to fight by his side, battling in their pilot's stead. Assassin can manually direct and give orders to these Knightmares, making them a truly formidable foe in combination with his extreme intellect and tactical prowess. Summoning all of them takes a lot of prana however, so he'll usually just summon one or two under most circumstances.

Better finish the series, bud. It might help you. That said, you are doing pretty good with that sheet. Very accurate to the series.

I couldn't resist following up with a Suzaku sheet as well. Be warned, some parts (personality and second NP) contain spoilers for the first season of the Code Geass anime series.

    Servant Rider:

    True Name: Suzaku Kururugi

    Alignment: Lawful Good

    Strength- B
    Agility- A
    Endurance- C
    Mana- C
    Luck- D
    NP- A+

    Appearance:

Personality: Rider displays a firm and resolute personality, believing in righteous conduct above all else. According to him, there is nothing valuable one can achieve through dishonorable ends. He has a hatred for Zero who took away his beloved Euphemia, and never forgave him for that act. But, while not forgiving him, he in time comes to understand Lelouch/Zero's reasons for doing what he did, and fulfills his place in Lelouch's final plan by striking down his once-friend. In truth, his chivalry and altruism masks a deep sense of self-loathing for killing his father to prevent civil war, and could even called a 'death wish' of sorts.

    Likes: Euphemia, honor, Lelouch
    Dislikes: himself, dishonorable means, corruption
Talent: all the skills necessary for a knight
    Natural Enemy: Zero

    Class Skills:

Riding (A-)- ability to ride animals and other vehicles. Rider's version of this Skill allows him to ride the mechanized beasts known as "Knightmare Frames". An ace pilot, Rider can utilize these mechas with great skill and finess, especially his own personal Knightmare, the Lancelot. However he's not particularly skilled when it comes to regular animals such as horses.

Magic Resistance (E)- doesn't negate magecraft, rather just reduces the damage somewhat.

    Personal Skills:

Military Tactics (C)- Tactical instinctive ability used not for one-on-one combat, but in a battlefield where many are mobilized. Although not an exceptional tactician by any means, as a britannian soldier he is certainly knowledgeable of how to fight in and against an army.

Eastern Martial Arts (A)- has trained greatly in martial arts since a young age, giving him considerable skill.

Battle Continuation (D)- ability to keep fighting while having sustained severe injuries. At this rank, the Servant may continue fighting despite suffering heavy wounds and injuries.

Guardian Knight (C)- a knight sworn to protect others, defensive powers are raised temporarily while fighting for the sake of another. However, because he has not truly made up his mind on what exactly he seeks to protect, this Skill is treated as a rank-down from what it otherwise could be.

    Noble Phantasms:

Lancelot- Knight In Shining Armor (A+, Anti-Army): not to be confused with the Heroic Spirit Lancelot. It is Rider's signature Knightmare Frame, a large white-and-gold humanoid steel giant with a red jewel over its chest and roller-blade like treads on its feet, resembling an armored knight. It has a variety of offensive armaments including Slash Harkens, a pair of beam particle swords and rocket boosters. He is extremely adept at pilotting it, and can channel his natural martial arts abilities through the controls to devastating effect.

The King's Command- I Hereby Order You To Live! (A, Anti-Self): a Noble Phantasm representing how he was compelled to "live" by the Geass of his rival and sworn enemy Lelouch vi Britannia. Whenever he's put in a situation where he's just about to die, this Noble Phantasm invokes automatically to give him an incredible boost in speed and power similar to the effects of a Command Seal for the purpose of saving himself. The effect lasts until he's longer in immediately life-threatening danger and then ceases. Even if he were to attempt to take his own life or sacrifice himself for another this Noble Phantasm would still activate and force him to do whatever is necessary to remove himself from the danger. Can even counter a Command Seal from his Master, although two or more will overwhelm it. Can only be invoked once per battle. When active, a tell-tale orange ring surrounds Rider's irises.

Normally with support-type NPs I would use "Support" as the category rather than "Anti-Self" but in Suzaku's case I thought Anti-Self would be a more fitting classification considering how he treats that so-called "blessing" in the series proper.

Thanks! I've just posted up a Suzaku sheet too, if you wanna check it out. Oh and I'll definitely try to finish the series, it's great! It has loads of style, a cool and unique protagonist, giant mecha, political intrigue, the supernatural, philosophy, a helping of fanservice and lots more too!

A certain ever-so-unlikely Viking hero in honor of having gotten to the last book in the How To Train Your Dragon series. Be warned that some of his NP and Skill descriptions contain some major spoilers for the events of the books (especially the later ones). Also when commenting, don't put any spoilers for the last book in the series since I'm yet to finish it as of posting this.

    Servant Rider:

    True Name:
    Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III

    Alignment: Neutral Good

    Alternate Class: Saber

    Strength- D (A+)
    Agility- B
    Endurance- C++
    Mana- E
    Luck- EX
    NP- A+

Equipment: his trusty sword Endeavour, the nameless sword of his fallen friend Snotlout, the Dragon Jewel, a compass topped with a wooden dragon and a leather Fire-Suit (not a Noble Phantasm but reduces tenfold any fire damage Rider receives to the parts covered)

    Appearance:

(Don't get the wrong idea, this sheet is for Book!Hiccup and not Movie!Hiccup. I'm just using this because I couldn't find any anime-style fanart for the book's version of the character.)

    Class Skills:

Riding (E+++)- normally possesses a very limited degree of skill in riding animals and vehicles. However, an exception is made regarding the Draconic species, for whom Rider displays an exceptional affinity towards.

Magic Resistance (D)- negates Single-Action spells. Despite hailing from the Age Of Gods, Rider possesses a low rank in this Skill due to never having fought against magic in life.

    Personal Skills:

Animal Dialogue (Dragonese) (A++)- ability to communicate with animals that do not speak human languages. Rider's particular version of this Skill derives from his being a Dragonwhisperer, one who speaks the ancient "language of dragons" known as Dragonese. A true rarity amongst rarities, only a scant few speakers could be found even in Rider's own time when dragons were commonplace let alone the modern day where it has been forgotten by all save the most esotoric of Mages. At this rank, one has the status of an undisputed master of the language, able to speak fluently in it and hold advanced conversation with all kinds of dragons.

Hero Of Destiny (EX)- the nature of a hero favored by Fate. Essentially, it is a Skill which contrives destiny to always guide Rider to the path of greatest glory and adventure. For example, he may "coincidentally" end up in the exact place to overhear an enemy's secret strategy, or "just happen" to stumble through some loose ground and end up in ancient forgotten treasury. This is not to say that he is always "lucky" in the conventional sense however, for the Fate of a Hero can be both great and terrible. It cannot, however, be mediocre. Additionally, this Skill also serves to increase the likelihood of Saving Throws when placed in near-death situations.

Bravery (A)- The ability to shut out mental interference such as pressure, confusion and mesmerization through sheer fortitude of will. In his memoirs, Hiccup showed the mental fortitude to confront countless of the most terrifying dragons and barbarian warriors often with little more than his wits to aid him.

Eye Of The Mind (True) (C)- a heightened capacity for observation, refined through experience. Allows for calm analysis of battle situation and conclusion of action during a tight spot through "theory of battle." At this rank, the Servant is capable of calmly analyzing situations except during an emotionally challenging battle. Even if the chance of victory is small, he is able to devise a plan to exploit that possibility.

Charisma (B+)- the ability to inspire others and lead armies. At this rank, the Servant shows a degree of charisma sufficient to lead an entire archipelago. Despite his unlikely appearance, Hiccup nontheless managed to get himself crowned King Of The Wilderwest due to the chance intervention of his friend and his own skill as a orator.

    Noble Phantasms:

Endeavor- The Second-Best Sword (B, Anti-Unit): Hiccup's trusty sword that he inherited from his father Grimsbeard The Ghastly. While lacking the flash of its counterpart the Stormblade, it was nontheless Grimsbeard's favorite of the two swords ("The Stormblade always leaned a little to the left" he'd say) and was prophecized to be obtained by his eventual heir to the throne in the form of Hiccup himself. A completely unremarkable looking blade, without any special flourishes or ornamentations to speak of. As it crystallizes the concept of "one's second-best sword", its rank and attributes will change to always live up to that title by being only ever so slightly lower than those of the opponent's blade. With his superb swordsmanship, Rider can normally close this gap and overwhelm the opponent even with an inferior blade. This only applies to ordinary physical attributes, not to any special properties the sword may possess as a Noble Phantasm (so if he faced Arturia, he'd get a sword only slightly less strong and durable as Excalibur, but he wouldn't be able to fire giant blasts of light like she can). This Noble Phantasm will not activate if the opponent doesn't have a sword, or has one no greater then Endeavour itself.

Toothless- The Fang-Free Dragon (E, Support): Hiccup's companion and hunting-dragon since the very beginning of his adventures. As the name suggests, he has no fangs to speak of which, combined with his small size (enough to fit easily inside a waist-pouch) makes him a less than intimidating sight. Toothless is intelligent, and can communicate to Rider in Dragonese. He has a very mischevious and selfish personality, but nontheless has a strong attachment to his "Master" and will try to help him by whatever means he can. The small dragon has very little combat potential, although he can be useful as a distraction and possesses reasonable skill at hunting. As a dragon, he can breath fire though at such a low level that the most he can do is give someone mildly singed clothing.

Snotlout- Sword Of Hero's Sacrifice (B+, Support): the nameless blade possessed by Hiccup's bitter rival Snotlout Jorgenson. In the end, Snotlout reconciled with his erstwhile enemy and sacrificed his life for him by dressing in his clothes and distracting the forces of Alvin The Treacherous and the witch Excellinor to give Hiccup time to escape, ultimately being shot down by a stray arrow in the middle of this heroic act. Just before dying, Snotlout had given Hiccup his sword which has became a symbol of that brave act of sacrifice, named in honor of his lost friend. As a sword, it is simply a quite hefty and sharp blade without any unusual offensive properties. However in a situation of mortal peril this Noble Phantasm can be invoked, warping space itself to forcibly remove Rider from the danger and leaving a hollow "corpse" of condensed prana in his place. Essentially, this gives him one extra "life" in the Holy Grail War. Can only be used once, and is then rendered unusable for the rest of the Grail War (the sword itself is still usable, but no longer has any special properties).

Windwalker- Hero's Riding-Dragon (A, Support): Hiccup's other dragon, and an altogether more imposing one at that. A large, fiercesome looking ebony beast with a single horn on his nose, a line of ivory spines from his neck to his tail and several canine-like teeth showing at the sides of his mouth. Unlike Toothless, Windwalker is not constantly active and requires manual summoning. Quite a strong and fast dragon in life, his attributes are enhanced as a Heroic Spirit. In flight, he can easily break the sound barrier as well as pull off a variety of incredible aerial manuevers. His fire-breath is also quite potent, comparable to a high-powered jet burst. Windwalker also has a personality of his own, though not one as obvious as Toothless's. Very gentle and softspoken, seldom speaking and having boundless loyalty to his master Hiccup.

Dragon Jewel- Jewel Of Dragon's End (A+, Anti-Dragon): the greatest of the King's Lost Things, the ten treasures that together annoint one as King of the barbaric archipelagos. An amber jewel about the size of a pocket-watch, inlaid with gold and with an array of differently colored gems dotting the edge. Said to hold the power to destroy all dragons in the world if activated, which to those who no the truth of the jewel is far from an exaggeration. Contained within the amber are two tiny dragons locked in combat, one of which bears the last instance of an ancient and incredibly potent anti-dragon pathogen. If Rider shatters the jewel, that pathogen will be released into the air in a radius the size of a city block. Within this radius any true dragons will die nearly instantly to the pathogen, while Servants possessing the Factor Of The Dragon (such as Arturia or Siegfried) will merely be hindered to a degree depending on the extent to which they possess the trait. For Draconic Factor of rank C or lower, enemy parameters will be lowered by one rank, two ranks for Factor of rank B and three full ranks for rank A or higher. Due to his love of dragons, Hiccup will absolutely refuse to make use of this Noble Phantasm unless forced to by Command Seal.

Grimbeard's Last Song- A Hero Is Forever (A+, Support): a Noble Phantasm representing the Viking hymn penned by Grimbeard the Ghastly as he sailed off into oblivion, stricken with grief after accidentally killing his son. It was also the song played by all the Vikings when Hiccup III was crowned king and went off for his seemingly impossible battle with the Dragon Furious. Even though his allies were far away from him, when they played this song he could hear it and feel as if they were fighting by his side. Upon invocation, a thunderous, rousing melody begins to resound through the environment without any apparent source. The lyrics go like this:

"I sailed so far to be a King but the time was never right
I lost my way on a stormy past, got wrecked in starless night
But let my heart be wrecked by hurricanes and my ship by storm weather
I know I am a Hero, and a Hero is...
    forever!

In another time, another place, I could have been a King
But in my castle’s ruined towers the lonely seabirds sing
I burned up my Tomorrows, I cannot go back ever
But I am still a Hero, and a Hero is...
    forever!"

While this song is playing Rider gains the equivalent of Battle Continuation (C) and his normally mediocre Strength is boosted greatly, as if channelling all the great Viking warriors throughout the Archipelago into his meagre body (in gameplay terms his Strength stat rises from D to A+). Even when separated by vast oceans or crushing smog, a King stands beside his people and the people stand proudly behind their King. Their hopes, their dreams, their sorrows and regrets, a true King embraces all of those as he strives towards tomorrow. Combined with the effects of Endeavour, this allows him to temporarily overpower the opponent's sword(s) through sheer strength alone, allowing him to possibly hold his ground even with the King Of Heroes Gilgamesh for at least some time. Once the song is finished playing all its effects will cease and Rider will return to normal (and probably require immediate treatment for wounds he endured through Battle Continuation). Rider's ultimate trump card Noble Phantasm, requiring a tremendous amount of prana to activate.

Riding should be A+ rank as he is able to ride the highest tier of phantasmal beasts regardless of his skills with other rides. Hero of destiny is luck. If Hiccup is lucky, then he's just lucky. Increase his rank in luck and save space in personal skills. Toothless, regardless of his strength is still a dragon. Having something like that is easily an A+ rank NP. Hell, bellerophon is a Pegasus almost on par with a dragon and that thing is A+ ranked. Dragon strong, simple as that. Also, try cutting the amount of NPs to about three. You can technically "cheat" the amount, but have three.

    That's my criticism for Hiccup.

The reason I had such a weird rank for Riding was because Hiccup is both incredibly competent at riding dragons and displaying of no particular skill in riding anything else. Canonically he would have A++ Riding since that's the only level where one shows capability to ride dragons. At one point I even thought of making it (-) rank and giving him a specific Dragon-Riding Personal Skill instead. With HOD, the idea was that the Skill increases his luck to EX rank like with Drake's Pioneer Of The Stars. I also don't see how you can say it's "just Luck" when it's unclear what Luck even does in the Nasuverse. I mean the most I can see supervening the Luck stat is the part about Saving Throws, I don't think it's ever stated how Luck affects a person's tendency to encounter certain situations. Besides, I was inspired by a very similar idea in the Belgarion of Riva sheet at the top of the page. And it seems sort of odd to have Toothless at such a high rank without any real combat abilities (plus he's a very young dragon anyway). Windwalker I can see making A+ though. With regard to NP number, originally he just had three, Endeavour, Toothless and the Jewel. But then I realized
    Spoiler:
    Snotlout's sacrifice
made an awesome idea for an NP, and then I had the idea of giving him Windwalker as something for him to actually ride (since Toothless is obviously unsuited for that purpose). And it's not like Servants never have lots of NPs (though it is rare), Achilles had six after all and Perseus had a whole bunch too. And for the most part, none of them are very powerful.

It's always good to hear commentary though. Does this mean that you're of the fan of the How To Train Your Dragon series out of curiosity? (If not, then you should be!)

Buffed Windwalker to A+ rank and added an extra sentence of description to Endeavor about how he can use his great swordsmanship to overwhelm most opponents even with a slightly inferior blade. Also made some minor typographical corrections elsewhere.

Read a book. I at least know about endeavor. You have a good point about NPs there. However, Achilles is one of the strongest heroes to possibly be summoned so he could be a very extreme case. I honestly didn't like how he had the super speed on top of the near invincibility and shield. Being miles above everybody in speed while being that tough and strong is way too much. For luck, it's not that uncommon for heroes to have the luck to stumble upon important information or lucky saves. If Hiccup the had completely changed the world, then maybe and even then I'd look up more on Pioneer of the Stars. I mean Emiya Shirou can come at the perfect time to save Rin from being killed by Kuzuki when Archer betrayed her. If the dragon jewel has enough power to commit genocide on the strongest phantasmal race on the planet, I think it would be a bit higher than just A+. Even if it's a concept rather than reality, killing multiple dragons in one sitting is insanely powerful. You could rank it like how UBW is like, with a minimum rank to maximum rank.

Hiccup's good fortune was pretty incredible in the books though. I mean, he practically finds the ten King's Lost Things by accident (for example, Endeavour he found by pulling it out randomly from a pile of swords in the middle of a swordfight, and he only found out its history after the fact), and it's noted more than once in the text how he has Fate on his side. I haven't finished the book series, so I can't say how much he "completely changed the world" yet, but I'm pretty sure his actions will pretty much determine the future of the entire archipelago (which with few exceptions comprises the entirety "the world" in the books). I see what you mean about giving the Jewel a higher rank (A++? Or even EX?) but I didn't want to give it something too high because of how specific it is to use (I mean, using the 5th Grail War as an example it'd be useless against everyone but Saber with her Dragon Engine). Deciding on ranks for this sheet was a bit tricky in general, since dragons in the Nasuverse are way more hax then they are in HTTYD. Like by Nasuverse canon Toothless would probably be an EX rank NP just by virtue of being a dragon.

Just to say, but that isn't what Nasuverse Luck is like. It's more the ability to defy fate, rather than random happenstance going favorably.

Since I already made a Hiccup one, I figured might as well do an Alvin one as well, for completion's sake (I actually have ideas for a few other HTTYD Servants, which I may or may not get around to doing).

    Servant Saber:

    True Name: Alvin The Treacherous

    Alignment: Neutral Evil

    Alternate Class: Assassin

    Strength- C+
    Agility- B
    Endurance- C
    Mana- E
    Luck- D
    NP- B+

    Appearance:

Basically this, except with all his limbs still intact (since he's summoned at peak condition)

    Class Skills:

Magic Resistance (A)- spells below A-rank are nullified. A high rank in Magic Resistance originating from the blessing of his mother, the witch Excellinor.

Riding (E)- posssesses only a very minor talent for riding animals or vehicles or any sort.

    Personal Skills:

Silver-Tongue (A+)- a Skill denoting treachery. The natural ability to mislead others through one's words and actions. At this level, even catching an entire kingdom or country in one's web of deception is not beyond the Servant's reach. However, at higher ranks one's existence as a genuine Heroic Spirit is eroded.

Disengage (C)- the ability to break away from battle. At this rank, the Servant can retreat from battle effectively. Also has the ability to return an unfavorable battle to the first turn and return technique stats to their defaults.

    Noble Phantasms:

Stormblade- Sword Of False Inheritance (C, Anti-Mind): the sword of Alvin the Treacherous, Originally belonging to the great Viking king Grimsbeard the Ghastly. Supposedly whoever found the sword would be Grimbeard's "true heir", however in actuality the sword was a decoy and the real treasure was Endeavour, found by Alvin's arch-nemesis Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. Rather then Endeavour "which beguiles through concealed inferiority", the Stormblade could be called "a blade which bedazzles through an overwhelming sense of superiority". The sword's effect is subtle but insidious. Anyone looking at Saber while he's wielding it will be overcome with the sense that it is the greatest sword they have ever seen and that he, by extension is the greatest swordsman that they have ever faced. Lesser opponents will be rendered unable to fight simply due to the sheer dread inflicted by looking upon the blade, while even those at a higher level may find it difficult to fight at full effectiveness. As it is a mental-based effect, it can be negated by Skills such as Bravery and Soul Of A Martyr of equivalent rank (or higher). Also, while Saber wields the sword, all his stats will appear to be one rank higher then they are in reality.

Survivalist- A Treacherous Never Dies (B+ rank, Support): a Noble Phantasm crystallizing Alvin's repeated escapes from death at the cost of his various limbs. When invoked, allows Saber to survive an otherwise fatal attack by sacrificing a single part of his body such as hair, an eye, a limb or what have you. The part to be sacrificed is selected randomly, with a Luck check to determine whether it's a minor (hair, fingers, toes) or major (arm, leg, eye) one. Essentially, renders it next to impossible to kill him unless he either runs out of limbs to sacrifice or else is completely disintegrated with zero chance of recovery.

    Servant Ruler:

    True Name: Druid Guardian/none

    Alignment: True Neutral

    Strength- A
    Agility- C
    Endurance- B
    Mana- C+
    Luck- C
    NP- EX

    Appearance:

(Couldn't find anything from the books so I ended up using this as the closest available alternative.)

Equipment: a sword, a large battleaxe

    Class Skills:

God's Resolution (A)- is the highest privilege for the Ruler Class. Normally Ruler-class would possess two Command Seals for each Servant that participated in the Holy Grail War.

True Name Discernment (B)- Status information such as the true identity, Skills and Parameters are automatically revealed when directly encountering Servant. However Servants with hiding capacity may bypass this depending on Luck levels.

Magic Resistance (C)- negates spells with an incantation of less than two verses. Having never faced magic in life, his rank is solely due to being fitted for the Ruler Class.

    Personal Skills:

Blinded Justice (A+)- possession of a pure mind that cannot be swayed by biases or personal attachments. Grants immunity to any form of mental interference Magecraft or anything that could interfere with his giving a proper judgement, up to and including a Command Seal.

Rune Magic (C)- as a Druid, Ruler obviously possesses some proficiency in this form of Magecraft. However, it was never a major part of his legend and his skill in the art is simply average.

    Noble Phantasms:

Dragon Guardians Of Tomorrow- Come, Powers Of Destiny And Darkness! (EX, Anti-Team): a Noble Phantasm representing Ruler's role as one of the Guardians of the isle of Tomorrow, whose position it was to determine the rightful king of the Wilderwest. Anyone setting foot on Tomorrow's sands who didn't meet the criteria would be swiftly destroyed by the fiercesome draconic beasts lurking beneath the sands. When activated with the incantation "Come, powers of destiny and darkness!" the ground will begin to surge beneath the opponent's feet as innumerable dragons, beasts so ancient and terrifying as to be feared even by their own kin, erupt forth to sieze the opponent and carry them into the upper atmosphere where their body is summarily vaporized from the friction, ash raining down upon the surrounding terrain. Death by airy oblivion.

An extremely powerful Noble Phantasm, limited by Ruler's refusal to use it on anyone except those who he judges to have disregarded the rules of the Holy Grail War. It also cannot be invoked more than once in a five-minute interval, as the dragons need time to descend back down from the upper atmosphere.

Nameless Guardians- One Amongst Many (B+, Support): represents how Ruler no longer has a True Name, having forsaken his identity to serve as one of the numerous blindfolded Guardians on the shores of Tomorrow. Because of this, if Ruler is killed another indistinguishable Guardian will simply spring up in his place. Destroying him would require killing him once for every one of the Druid Guardians, who easily number in the dozens. Ruler can also summon all the Guardians at once for an all-out charging attack.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Funny how all my HTTYD Servants ended having a Noble Phantasm that basically gives them "extra lives" of some sort (Snotlout for Hiccup, Survivalist for Alvin and now Nameless Guardians for this guy). Well, Hiccup and Alvin both were really freaking hard to kill in the books, while with the Druid Guardian I was mostly inspired by the Thousand-Faced Hassan from Zero.

    Class: Rider
    True Name: Wally

    Strength: E
    Endurance: E
    Agility: E
    Mana: C
    Luck: D
    Noble Phantasm: C

    Class Skills:

    Magic Resistance: E

Riding: A+ (However, Rider’s frailness hinders the riding of all non-sentient mounts.)

    Personal Skills:

    Weak Constitution: EX

Rider’s Weak Constitution subjects his STR, END, and AGI stats to reduction such that they are only 1/5 as potent as they should be. It cannot be nullified with a Command Spell.

    Familiar (Pokémon): A

As a Pokémon trainer that potentially surpasses Red in skill, Rider is connected to his six Pokémon on an intimate level. At this rank, complete mastery over these creatures is attained.

Eye of the Mind (False): B

    Noble Phantasm:

Mega Evolution: An Evolution Beyond Evolution: C; Anti-Unit (Self)

The ability to empower certain Pokémon past the normal limits of their strength. Adds and activates plus modifiers for all of a Pokémon’s stats, excluding Luck. At this rank, only Gallade can be Mega Evolved.

    Notes:

Rider has six Pokémon: Roserade, Talonflame, Azumarill, Magnezone, Garchomp, and Gallade. They are materialized by the throwing and opening of the corresponding Pokéball. They are supported by Rider’s Master.
