Simultaneously not much and quite a lot happened this ep, will need to wait for subs to draw proper conclusions. Still, it seems we're finally getting to Symphogear Endgame(tm).

Rewatched it this morning with proper subs, still got hyped as fuck. The music, especially the new group song, is truly a step above and beyond last season's.

XV EP V: The SoL bits after so long are more than welcome, but Miku all of a sudden deciding to care about stuff she was apparently content to ignore for literally years at this point is getting ridiculous. I eagerly anticipate finding out what bee crawled under her bonnet.

Then again, she might honestly be dead and leave all my questions unanswered and I would frankly not give a damn beyond how that would force us to endure another depressed Hibiki arc. Not super-high odds but I'm gonna hope all the same.

At least Tsubasa's transformation and subsequent fight scene was well worth it, unlike what little we got of Chris last time ("BANG!" making a comeback aside). So, with this, we have all the season's transformations. Hibiki=Kirika>Tsubasa=Maria>Shirabe=Chris. But they're very damn close, the animators truly outdid themselves for the final season.
