Well, if you're thinking in a purely OOC sense then, sure, but that happens out of the game just as much as in the game. If you're talking about carrying over previous relationships made in-game to this version, then that's a bit unfair, because people joining newly won't have the chance to make those relationships, even though we're supposed to have been here as long as you have been.
Also, what about the things you've learnt in the previous thread (powers etc.)? Surely we're going to be disadvantaged in that respect, too....
It's unfair, sure, but there's equally little way to give you IC interaction in something that's now over.
But, giving you an extra advantage like that is going to make it hard for new people to join. Really, it should just start from scratch....
