Code Geass Sequel's English Subtitle is 'Re;surrection'
The official Twitter account for the Code Geass anime franchise revealed on Sunday that the English subtitle for the Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch sequel project is "Re;surrection." The account further revealed that the official English subtitles for the previous three compilation films are "Initiation," "Transgression," and "Glorification," and that the sequel's "Re;surrection" subtitle is a continuation of the theme of those subtitles.

I'm very confused about what Lelouch of the Re;surrection is even about and how its placed. It's after the trilogy of CG movies right, and it follows the alternate ending to R2, right? I'm so confused. Or is it a direct sequel to R2?

I first watched Code Geass over 3.5 years ago, when I was just getting into anime, and now that I'm watching the first recap film, I must say, I am recognizing so many voice actors from other roles that I couldn't have recognized then.
Tfw they retconned cartdriver-kun out of existence in the recap movies. I literally just wanted to see the new movie to check if the cartdriver is Lulu meme I desperately shilled over 10 years ago turned out to be canon.
It's an AU, of course cartdriver-kun was retconned, as were several other things. I've only watched the first, and several of Cornelia's early battles with the Japanese resistance, the whole Lelouch blowing up Katase at the harbor, and the Shirley, Villeta, Zero thing were cut out or changed.
Wait, nvm, they song montaged the refrain shipment bust and the Katase Sakuradite elimination. Come one, I wanted that refrain shipment thing kept!
