    Based on the many Sakura debates this forum has had (that is not an excuse to start up another one), I think Spy's point about Sakura is more widely held than you seem to think. As a cute, helpful, side character, she seemed to work (albeit her voice is the worst in the game by a million miles). But when she moved to a heroine role, many new revelations came very quickly and a lot of people have said that they didn't think those were handled well. And she never really picked up the proactive stance that the other two heroines had had.
