For now, it's going to stay BL exclusive. Mostly because I want to build up a decent chapter buffer and I want to avoid the small handful of people who will accuse me of copying the other crossover, since certain story elements are similar.

The copying thing is very easily solved, just link the crossover thread, first page where I mention the idea, just without using Archer and then the other page, where you tell us that you decided on Archer. If they still bitch, I shall curb stomp them! The chapter buffer is a good idea. Also you put way more thought into your story, so it'll buff out in the end anyways. Not trying to convince you or anything just stating my opinion.
Edit: Also if they bitch then they're most ungrateful, considering you put a lot of thought into it and will, very likely respect both universes.

The original story concept actually had Shirou as the protagonist, but unfortunately the crossover potential wasn't as great because the only Shirou I could work with from a canon perspective is Fate Shirou, and Fate Shirou isn't really as awesome unless I go down Arashi's path and make an alternate Fate route in which Shirou becomes awesome.
But I'm too lazy to do that, so instead Archer became the protagonist.
