So SE decided to screw BR and RU players by raising the sub from the affordable price to stupidly high on Steam.

Like, uh, if I were still living in Russia, I'd probably go for some of the more expensive games on Steam instead of paying the sub.

It's a bit unfortunate to see. I mean, I can understand SE's logic behind it, but it still feels pretty shit to see it happening. That's going to price a lot of people out of the game in those regions, and make many others reconsider their subscription status on the principle of having to pay more than they were and not liking it. :|

Been leisurely gearing up to IL320 on NIN and BLM and now even my casual friends have started pugging Omega Savage, I guess it's a good time to get on that

Leveling DRK, WHM, DRG and MCH on the side with roulettes and tribe dailies

Honestly wasn't too sure at first about continuing to play after finishing Stormblood main story, it's a little scary that I'm now back into the routine of logging in daily

Haven't had money or time to play FF14 for a couple of months now, but I did finally buy Stormblood some days ago and hopefully I'll be able to download all the additional content once I move ot my new place (which has much better internet than my current place). I'm missing my femroe main. 8( Also I'm ridiculously far behind, haven't touched any main story quests after 3.0... but hey, at least I have all of my crafters/gatherers and about half of my disciples of war/magic at lvl 60 with decent gear. Shouldn't be too difficult to get to 70. I hope.

Went back and cleared the Warring Triad questline from HW last night with a bunch of other returnees/newbies in my FC

I already did Sephirot (left at the tail end of that patch) so I was familiar with him, SAY MY NAAAAAME

Sophia, absolutely wonderful BGM, fight itself felt like a tougher rehash of Leviathan but much prettier

But good lord, Zurvan and his sexy Suwabe Junichi voice and that Ahura Mazda phase transition, 10/10 would wipe again

Now I really need to learn to tank these in EX

oh wow. The warring triads, I wonder if those "skip soar or disband" is still a requirement for Zurvan. The salt on his EX fight was a sight to behold.

I don't know if skipping Soar is as big a deal on this side as the EN players, it's pretty well documented in JP guides and spread patterns are included in macros it seems? Depends if I'll be doing with other FC people or RF I suppose
