"Praetor" makes no sense as a translation for 奏者 other than in the sense of "iunno that sounds like a Roman word I guess".
She could call you "senator" and it would be about as close.
奏者 (player/actor/thespian/instrumentalist/artist/whatever) is part of Nero's fixation on the arts and how you meet her.
All that said, it's not a big problem. But it's pretty representative of the quality of the old Extra translation, they just didn't have enough time to think about the writing or review it.
Specifically she compares herself to an instrument that will make the muses super jealous and stuff
