Well, Gil being the oldest is a fact so any theory you make that comes to a different conclusion is wrong by default.

He also had a child according to it, and the sumerian king list had more than him on it, he was not the first king. THee were a shit ton of antedulivan kings before him, thats not counting the myths of lugulbana his father.

And is there anything in Fate that contradicts that? As Castor said Gil is first Hero not first King, being a king doesn't mean your automatically a hero. Gil's claim as first Hero comes from the Epic of Gilgamesh, the earliest surving piece of literature that depicts a hero. I mentioned the king list as it provided evidence that Gil's Uruk matched up historically, which it does.

From what I see it seems that you think that actual history and mythology are exclusive from each other in this but really it's the opposite, they each serve a part in the making of these characters.

I don't think we ever had a conclusive origin for the Throne other that it's there, stores Heroes, and is used by Humanity as it's own Special Ops.

I could see multiple theories working to be honest, like alaya made it, some really ancient guy made it and so on.

its also from the 'Oldest King' scene in fate route which is when you first run into him.

Timeline wise we know from that FGO material Arjuna/Karna were 30000 BC but I think the implication is that they are fictional heroes who's story was made up after Gil's time.
