I don't know why you specifically called out Buddhism tho. Tamamo origin is combination of the 3 religions: Shinto (Japan), Hinduism and Buddhism (India) as well as things from China i.e feng shui. So it's kinda strange you didn't find Shinto, Hinduism, feng shui references annoying.

Yes, but the references to particular myths and religions from her dialogue are what I'm talking about here, not shinbutsushugo stuffs. The feng shui, Huang Di and Huxian stuffs from Chinese folk religion for example, very obscure to western audience. If anything I expect wutface from reading those, not the Buddhism x Hinduism x Shinto stuffs.

Shinbutsushugo doesn't have the feng shui stuffs from Chinese folk religion at all so the fact that it being mentioned there is the clear indication that I was not talking about shinbutsushugo which covers Shinto and Buddhism. And where are the Chinese folk religion stuffs? Some from her dialogue, some from her CCC SG3.

Is this really on topic? And unless you can literally summon them from thin air like Nobu does, rows of muskets aren't going to be very effective in one-on-one duels, which is how Jedi generally fight.
