She is technically both Daji and not Daji.
- She spams Fengshen Yanyi references as much as possible, especially the part where the fox is the guardian of Huangdi's tomb, which is who the fox possessed Daji and her 2 sisters are. Heck she said this shit the very first time she appears in the series, when Hakuno summoned her at the beginning of Extra.
- Feelin' nostalgic when Nezha calling her Daji, which Mashu conveniently reminded "Oh right, Tamamo-san is also in the novel Fengshen Yanyi!".

The reason why she is also not Daji becuz 1) Daji is normal girl being possessed by the 9 tailed fox and 2) Amaterasu Aramitama was the one doing Daji stuffs, but because Tamamo is her bunrei she inherits all of the experiences and memories from her, including the memories of possessing Daji.

Eh, Shirou and Rin wouldn't kill Shinji. Sakura wouldn't be able to without having gotten corrupted first (although now I want to see Sakura chasing Shinji down with bow and arrow in the empty school building).
