Mahou Shoujo Site springs to mind, but I'm pretty sure that it's classified as Shonen despite using the tropes of the (traditionally Shoujo) magical girl genre.
The mahou shoujo genre hasn't been predominantly shoujo-oriented since at least Sailor Moon.
But not cosmic, but there is horror-shoujo certainly.
In this instance I'm less concerned with surface level aesthetics of the works they consume and the works the put out and more to do with depth of storytelling and how that influences them and their work.

CCS and Rayearth aren't that bad, but that's about it.

Saint Martha and the Tarasque to me is something not a lot of people would be familar with. Something interesting tho is this little funny video which is a summary of that tale if anyone was curious. Personally i love this channel so i think this is enjoyable. It's sarcastic but that's what makes it great.
Watching this made me think of to many similarities between are Martha then what I had originally thought.
Also why couldn't we get that last part as an NP, though maybe we did as a skill it think.
