About Polnareff, I think another reason why Chariot couldn't lift him against Vanilla Ice was because by that time, Polnareff was severely injured, having lost 4 toes on a foot and bleeding from several places, thus weakening Chariot.

That could work, but it's explicitly not what Polnareff says in his internal narration.

Part 4 was the best. The decline started in Part 5, when everyone looked like alien LoTR elves, then Part 6 had everyone looking super butch or effeminate, Part 7 went even more gangly, but things did slightly improve, and then...Part 8. I will never read Part 8 because of how bad everything looks. Also, I shudder whenever I look at Araki's redraws of past characters, especially his redraw of Jonathan and Will.

The manga was...rough to say the least. The Phantom Blood anime was a HUGE improvement and is actually what helped me appreciate the part as a whole. By the way, Jonathan = my best JoJo.

Also, what swole lads?! Who the hell were you looking at?! These guys aren't swole! Fuga wears a fucking thong because there're too many holes in his outfit! Narancia looks way too much like a lady, and then we have tortellini head himself. As you can probably see, I have no real love for Part 5.

Real big brain chads realize Part 5's worth. Of course everyone looks like a skinny twink in the manga, but DP is bringing back the manliness in spades tbh. Especially since DIU was such a shitshow in the art department.

How dare you insult DiU's art! David Productions' DIU art was amazing!! However, I will agree that Part V animated will probably look a hell a lot better than the manga did. Same for Stone Ocean.

I will agree on that last point, but I think hairdo was second best JoJo. If Jonathan were a Fate character, he would definitely qualify for Heroic Spiritdom.
