We know pretty much jack about the gunner class other than they use guns so saying it adds nothing seems presumptuous. Maybe a Gunner's gun np is stronger than it would be as an Archer, maybe being a class for modern heroes gives some Class Skill that compensates for low mystery. We just don't know.
