I've said it before, I'll say it again. DEEN is (was? I haven't watched any of their recent stuff) great at still frames and occasionally some really damn good fine detail. It's when they start taking bad shortcuts for animation that they fall behind.

Like, they'd be an amazing manga studio, just get them out of the animation business because holy shit the original VN had more movement and animation than some of DEEN/Stay Night.

In recent times, their reputation has gotten much better thanks to KonoSuba, Rakugo Shinjuu and Sakamoto. Over the years they've produced very good-looking stuff, both art- and animation-wise, but they gained infamy for stuff like Umineko, the worst parts of Higurashi, the lesser parts of Fate 06 and Vampire Knight. They still make stuff with early-2000s tier production values and poor creative direction like Super Lovers but their string of hits in 2016, one of which is still among the most popular contemporary shows, definitely helped. In general I've found DEEN to be a pretty good studio all things considered since getting into anime in 2014, but I zeroed in on the weakest parts of their Fate adaptation, which is something I avoided with Higurashi, probably due to doing a full rewatch of Higurashi relatively soon after.

Does any version of the Headless Hessian actually wear a Hessian uniform? Typically, most versions wear black, while the TV series one on Fox wore a redcoat. While the Fate one does wear something a bit more detailed than typical ones, I'm pretty sure that that's not a Hessian uniform either.

Iskandar, because well his catalyst is being used for the ritual, and Saber is not normally summonable to a Holy Grail War after the 5th War, at least after Fate and UBW.
