I dunno if they ever said if the second shot he used on Kirei was an Origin round or not. He does have regular bullets for the Contender.

Localizationing stuff
You're right, it never actually Specifies:
Though I'm personally in favour of it being an Origin Shot, simply because Kerry probably wanted to make extra sure that Kotomine was deadOriginally Posted by Fate Zero: Act 16
He loaded it in a hurry during their actual fight, and in that fight he kept going on about how Origin Bullet had been nullified by how Kotomine was using his magic energy, so, yeah, there's actually no real reason for it to be one or the other in particular.

I would like to think he'd use a normal bullet.
Cos if he knows it's not going to work then why use an origin bullet.

As far as making sure he's dead, I think blowing out his whole chest cavity would put my mind at ease more than vague magical necrosis to be honest.
Well then I'd recommend something besides an origin round if that's the effect you want. Maybe throw a Gae Bolg (or two).
Nothing says it couldn't be healed with magecraft, just that the surface looks fine but it really isn't because the nerves and capillaries get messed up. There also wouldn't be any blowing out of anything since it says the origin rounds don't cause any wounds or bleeding.

Gotcha. Must've been a regular shot then, since Kirei heart is definitely spattered.

don't quote me on this
I wonder if GO's portrayal of Arjuna was inspired at all by Jin Kisaragi from Blazblue. Both are somewhat cold and aloof types, praised by their fellows as "ideal heroes" but with a crazy psycho side that they mainly express to their brother (who also happens to be their biggest rival).
