かん汗ぎゅう牛じゅう充とう棟
Expresses the exceeding size of one's library.
Books are extremely many, loaded on an oxcart the ox will sweat.
At home piled to the ridgepole of the house, from this meaning.
Read out as 「Ushi ni ase shi, munagi ni mitsu.」

Well, someone doesn't know how Chinese sovereigns talk. People like that will never directly ask for something. Instead of begging for mercy, of course, they will say something along the lines of "killing me will start a new war". It's just like Perrault of Soul Liquid Chambers saying "killing me will set the world recovery back by centuries". This is coming from the same culture that the requirement for being emperor is rejecting that offer 9 times over.
That's not supported by the actual movie being referenced.
Trust me. The Emperor knew that Nameless was going to be shot in the back afterwards during said discussion.
If he was blind how would he read your comment

You seem to have trouble empathizing with people so as an exercise let’s pretend that instead of unifying China, Qin is running on a platform of “lolis for everyone” and sacrificing yourself will let him make it a reality while killing him will banish all lolis, forever
Are you, Nameless, still a moron for choosing the former?
That scenario is a bit too ridiculous to consider. It's more that one option leads to my death, and the other leads to 20000 gold coins (yes, a reference to https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Hail_Sithis!). Again, "uniting the land" is pretty cliche imperial spiel, like Soul Liquid Chambers' Perrault talking about world restoration. Now that I think about it, ditto with Fallout 3's President Eden.

As soon as you put yourself in that situation it’s just a matter of choosing what you’re dying for
