I personally think it'd go something like Roa attempts to possess Mikey, but with the sheer power of Mikey's positivity, he ends up subsuming Roa without even noticing any attempted body-jacking.
Should he try to go after the Shredder or Splinter instead?
The obvious answer is Baxter, c'mon now. That's totally Roa's MO, and the guy doesn't do losing scenarios.

Shredder does have a loyal army of ninjas and mystics at his command, and if it's the 2003 cartoon's continuity, he will also have access to utrom technology.
Then again, his best bet is to possess the original cartoon's Shredder: he will never win again, but he will also never die.
