Well duh. Besides, this wouldn't be Edgekles, but Hunkules. On a more serious level, Herakles was the greatest Greek hero, a shining pillar of most of what ancient Greek culture valued and beloved by most of the Gods. It would only make sense that he's given the authorities of the Gods at some point.
Am I alone in thinking Kubo is at his best when he's doing stylish semi-urban and similar designs rather than traditional stuff like shinigami kimonos? The Sterriter uniforms and the Fullbringer's powers were some of my favorite stuff in Bleach by far
Not to mention the protagonists of Burn The Witch that were just amazing

How about not just reusing the same gimmick from pervious lostbelt just because it'd be cool?

What Kubo needs is an editor, maybe a co-writer. He has good ideas for characters, but he sucks at plotting.
